Don't feel empty and unfulfilled any longer. The E for All Expo, organized by IDG World Expo (MacWorld Expo) and completely unrelated to an illegal substance that makes people worship glowsticks, kicks off today. VIP access began at 11:00 am PT while general admission guests can peruse the show floor starting at 3:00 pm PT (that's 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm ET, respectively).
Those in the Los Angeles area can attend the E for All Expo at the LA Convention Center, former home to the E3 Expo. On-site registration costs $50 to $90, but you do get to try out Smash Bros. Brawl and Metal Gear Solid 4. Joystiq has sent operatives to infiltrate the show floor, we'll report our findings.

I heard about it from school: it's possible that it may be free for game design students (not too sure).

MGS4? That's the best game you could mention besides Smash Bros. Brawl? Pathetic.
There. I fixed it for you.

You guys have a really bad taste in games then if that's what you think. Seriously, grow up for once and stop playing your little Nintendo games. They've been done and over for the past 10 years, probably more. How much of Mario can one person really take?

Brawl is only the 3rd game in the series, and it's coming out 8 years after the original. Halo 3 came out 6 years after Halo 1. I'm pretty sure you're not trying to say that Smash Bros. is a milked franchise though...
Are you trying to dis every single Nintendo game of the last 10 years at once? 'Cuz Ocarina of Time's only 9 years old.

Been there all day today. . .
I got so much free stuff it was insane. Also for a smaller sized convention there was a hellofalot to do and a hellofalot of people.
Good stuff. I have had more fun there than any E3 I've ever attended.
Going back tomorrow, but can't go Sat/Sun, unfortunately.
P.S. Smash Bros. Brawl is AWESOME. MGS4 is great too. . . they give you 20 minutes of playtime for the game which really elts you get a feel for the sound/graphics/controls. With the amount of people that showed up today, I'd expect the convention to come around next year. Wooo!
