Not surprisingly, they didn't get Jenny Lewis, the only one who still has a career as a performer.

I think he produces those really bad Nickelodeon and Disney Channel sitcoms.

Technically, they could get Toby McGuire. He was one of Lucas' lackies at the tournament. He's in the image here, first on the left, sporting quite the mullet.

This is a VERY shitty movie--without a doubt.
It's amazing the absolute crap the children of the NES/Transformers era of the 80's grew up on. Pity the children...

Mere words can't describe how I loved to watch this movie when I had it on VCR back in the 90's, when I was about 5 years old. The lines are legendary, especially the Powerglove one, which I loved to hear, and I still remember how excited I always got when I saw a game being there.
"Oh wow dad, look! That kid's playing Megaman!!"
Also, I still have a functional copy of Rad Racer. That game for me was (and it's still)hard as hell to beat.

haha this made me go back and read a ton of old video game history. hence my name change :) I used to have a ti-99/4a, it was great

The Powerglove is basically doing what the Wiimote does today on the Wii. Nintendo was ahead of it's time. How could no one figure out what Nintendo was up to before annoucing the controls of the Wii? We should have all seen it coming lol.

either nintendo was 20 years ahead then, or they're 20 years behind now

I'm sure many of us thought this was one of the coolest movies ever. I'm sure if I watched it now I'g thinkt he opposite; however, I still would pay to see this. Past several years I've been here and they didn't have anything worth going to. I'm moving out of here in middle of next month and they finally make it worth to see an old movie. >

Man, I saw Vinson in an episode of Law and Order like 2 months ago. I was like, "Hey! That's Lucas!". He was playing an anti-semite (if hope that's the correct term for a person who dislikes Jewish people.).
