Eurogamer reports that Capcom plans to release a third game in its Commando series on Xbox Live Arcade. Better known as MERCS in the United States, Commando is a top down arcade shooter. Commando 3 is set to feature 3 uniquely equipped characters as well as co-op vehicles. The game is being developed by Backbone (they seem to make everything on XBLA, don't they?) and is scheduled to release this winter for 800 MS Points. Naturally, it will support online leaderboards and the like, though online play has not been confirmed at this time.
