Wow is one of my favorite games ever... up there with oot, mm, mgs2, halo 1, cs:source, homeworld etc...
but i just got bored of it.
what i really want is for an mmo developer to really desire to game a game that is markedly better than wow so i can have a new addiction...
i hear the same crap all the time 'there are so many mmos' but in reality, there is only one mmo, the best one, and that's world of warcraft.
after 3 years being on the market, given it was blizzard's sophomore attempt at mmo design, can't someone release a better game?

city of villains was a bit different. of course it still has the same grind that all mmo's do, but at least the combat was visceral. I quit it over a year ago but the last few days i've wanted to play it again. I know I'd get bored after level 22 or so though. ARrrrgh. If they ever release another big expansion, like how CoV was to CoH, I'll buy it on day 1. :/
