@ Ben

So do I man...so do I.

The trailers, the graphics, the overall theme/concept, and the setting have basically convinced me that this is a title worth buying a 360 for.

However after watching that gameplay trailer a few days ago I'm a lil worried.

I'll be quite disappointed if this doesn't live up to everyones hopes.

I'm wondering more and more -as others surely are- if the memory glitches and other "matrix" type things are going to turn out to be happening in the future. As though your character is teleported or something back to this era. The cool thing about that would be you could do entire different eras of history for any sequels while always keeping the main protagonit. Who knows...it's looking good, though.

They've already said that everything about the Sci-Fi things is going to be explained in the first few minutes of the game, it's just that they want the players to experience it firsthand.

So there's not much concerning that that needs to be hyped - all will be solved once you pop the disc in the tray.

I'm actually more hoping it's not that these things are from the future or you've been pushed back in time, but rather the world in which the main character is interacting is fabricated in some sense. Hopefully not in the Matrix type of way, but in that it actually exists in a controlled manner.

We'll see.

I'm sorry... I must have missed it. What is the release date for this game? November... what?

Based on pretty much everything I've seen about Assassin's Creed thus far has made it my one singular must-have title this year.

I want Rock Band, Mass Effect, CoD4, Manhunt 2 and Super Mario Galaxy on Wii, GeoWars and Dementium: The Ward on DS, but Assassin's Creed beats everything out as far as I'm concerned.

I won't be reading reviews on the game next month (IGN, other sites) because I want to be pleasantly surprised while I play the game and go into it fresh. Those two gameplay vids (The Monferrat and Cathedral videos) were the last two linchpins in the shebang. Hell, I want a white hoody after seeing those vids!

It's kinda like that J.J.Abrams "Cloverfield" movie: the less I know about it the more I'm interested!

As for the sci-fi aspects of the game, I'm going into this whole thing like Altair is in a big Holodeck type environment for whatever reason.

Game drops on November 13th, lharmon.

i thought it was something like this:
a guy (altair) is in a coma in the present and all the stuff we have seen so far is a weird dream he is having about a previous life. And all the glitches and stuff are caused because of all the machines and things he is hooked up to.

i swear i read it somewhere a while back

also a hospital setting is seen in some of the earlier trailers like back when it was called "project assassins"
