"Maybe Tecmo didn't receive Nintendo's marketing materials. Rygar on the Wii ignores the elderly, girls and casual gamers."

You see that comment that is meant for flame bait! Oh yes kids by pass the comment continue to the game, don't give in. You women hate good gaming!

Anyway this game does look good, and I hope it delivers because this is what I was expecting from game designers on the WII. I wanted them to go back to games that were great of past and re-invent them now with a new story and new innovative controls and dynamics. If one company does it and succeeds the rest will follow because anything less will be seen as the companies failure to utilize the system.

He's certainly confident about this Gladiator mode. He SAYS that you need to use large swings of the Wii Remote. We'll see if that holds up when media outlets get hands-on demos.

THis definitely has potential... we'll see if Kikuchi can pull off a pleasing 1:1 with the Wii Remote. Someone needs to raise the bar and step away from the waggle.

I would be more excited for this is it wasn't apparently Rygar 1.2.

Is this the same as the PS2 version? With white hair this time ? :) It was my favorite PS2 fighting game until GoW came out.

Rygar for the NES is still the best I think. I spent hours pulling my hair trying to decipher the gibberish hints the "Indora" gods gave you...good times!

I like the way this guy thinks. Wii needs more devs like this. Thanks Tecmo.

oh wait, if this is a remake of the PS2 Rygar, I might have to replace my other comment with a "WTF?"

Wrong console for the "adrenaline-loving Spike TV-watching crowd". It only takes forty-three muscles for me to frown but it only takes the muscle known as extensor digitorum to extend my middle finger at Tecmo's choice of platform. Oh man, I love stirring up shit.

I didn't get to finish the PS2 game before my memory card vanished... I may just get this instead of starting over.

"adrenaline-loving Spike TV-watching crowd"

I love action games, and I'm interested in Rygar, but I absolutely can't stand Spike TV's early-pubescent bullshit.

But Spike TV also wins because of Star Trek weekday afternoons

Yeah, its a remake, but they seem to be putting effort into it

This'll be a wait-and-see, even though it looks awesome. Wii's weakness is action games, it needs more good action games (just for the record, i'd say 360's is platformers and PS3's is RPGs)

I still don't like the whole "Wolverine after he woke up from a long nap" look. Still, for (another) PS2 port, at least it's one of the supposed better PS2 games and they're actually reworking it and adding stuff as oppose to a direct port. I hope they rework the voice overs as well.
