Set your DVRs, have iCal remind you to get the illegal download, or *gasp* watch live next month as the Starz cable network presents Hollywood Goes Gaming. The special examines the convergence of video games and Hollywood on Nov. 26 at 9PM. The program is hosted by film critic Richard Roeper, the other half of anti-"games as art" Roger Ebert, best known from the television show Ebert and Roeper.
The list of people, movies and video games examined in the special show include an eclectic mix of groan-inducing and inspirational people associated with the game and movie industries. On the one hand you've got highlights like Miyamoto, Clive Barker and Don Bluth talking about their experiences. Although, being fair and balanced, Starz had to go and dig up Uwe Boll, Paul W.S. Anderson and The Rock. It's definitely looking like it could be an interesting special, so we'll try to get a preview copy to see if it's worth checking out later next month.
