Manhunt 2 official trailer teases the depravity
We're just waiting to try out the Wiimote controls with the game and see if it's all the murder simulator it can be. From the trailer this sequel seems a little more thought through than the original Manhunt -- but still depraved. All we know is if some stupid controversy springs up following Manhunt 2's release with its M-rating clearly on the box, we're going to ask for someone to edit together a clip the worst parts of Saw IV (premiering this week) and Manhunt 2, and we'll see what piece of media really deserved to be potentially banned.

Wilky @ Oct 26th 2007 6:39AM
Boom! Headshot...
(The game made me do it, m'lord)
mietha CAG @ Oct 25th 2007 9:47AM
Wait. It's only on last gen systems? Who gives a shit? Jesus. I thought it was going to be for a real gaming system. Seriously, how graphic can you be in 480i?
Martin @ Oct 25th 2007 10:00AM
I would liken the graphics to the intelligence of someone who can't survive on less than 720p. Grow up and get over yourself.
Matt B @ Oct 25th 2007 10:03AM
Good thing my PS3 upscales PS2 games. I'll give this a rent.
GRANTED @ Oct 25th 2007 10:11AM
so.. the graphics suck and hes stupid. everyone loses.
Balla360 @ Oct 25th 2007 9:51AM
Those graphics hurt my eyes. Was Manhunt 2 made with the Goldeneye 64 engine?
Aj Collins @ Oct 25th 2007 11:34AM
It uses Renderware...at least for the PS2 version. Not sure about the Wii or PSP since Renderware never had a final version for those platforms before they where bought out by EA. Yeah, the graphics do look kinda bad but I think it kinda adds to the whole horror feel.
Psaakyrn @ Oct 25th 2007 9:51AM
Can I vote both?
(Granted, I come from a country which banned Donnie Darko as well. Grr.)
WiNG @ Oct 25th 2007 10:22AM
wtf country banned Donnie Darko, and why?
baby sea tuna @ Oct 25th 2007 10:31AM
If they banned Lost in Translation too, then it was obviously due to good taste.
Psaakyrn @ Oct 25th 2007 10:48AM
Singapore. Safe, Conservative, Boring. (But we've good food!)
gonk @ Oct 25th 2007 10:48AM

AstroZombie @ Oct 25th 2007 10:57AM
You speaking from experience there, gonk?
Psaakyrn @ Oct 25th 2007 10:58AM

I'm sorry if your own IQ (or lack of it) prevents you from enjoying this film.
Myxo @ Oct 25th 2007 9:53AM
Saw should have been banned.
Not because it's a bloody movie... because it's an insult to all movie goers and the horror genre itself.
Sean @ Oct 25th 2007 11:52AM
And they will be released year after year forever and ever.
kevin @ Oct 25th 2007 10:00AM
so, this ought to be a good test.
which console will it look better on, the psp or the wii?
Cyro @ Oct 25th 2007 10:25AM
The psp of course.
smartguy1600 @ Oct 25th 2007 10:14AM
Does it matter what it looks like so long as it's...oh what's the word...FUN? The Wii controls alone should make for a good time.
NATO_Duke @ Oct 25th 2007 10:16AM
Kinda funny that people in mass defended this game being made and now seem to be jumping on the fact that its not an HD game. I thought that its gameplay was what people wanted. No love eh?
It doesn't look great, but it has always be advertised as a Wii/PS2 game in the first place, so who expected it to suddenly be a PS3 caliber game?
WiNG @ Oct 25th 2007 10:22AM
It's not the same people.
And honestly as a PC gamer the "high def" 720 pixel graphics of PS3 and 360 are not impressive either.
Call me back when PS4 has 2400x1600 resolution.
But in the meantime I really don't care about the Pixel Count Wars.

Balla360 - Thanks for correcting such an unimportant error in my English usage.
Ocho @ Oct 25th 2007 10:51AM
@WiNG
I'm actually looking forward to Pixel Count Wars on the DS, I think it's going to be one of the better turn-based, brain-training strategy games released this year.
Balla360 @ Oct 25th 2007 11:16AM
You are welcome, though I believe I'm correcting your French usage.
NATO_Duke @ Oct 25th 2007 12:01PM
OK jackass.
WiNG @ Oct 25th 2007 10:19AM
This game is going to suck, but sell pretty decently due to media attention.
UltimateQ @ Oct 25th 2007 10:58AM
I'm buying 2 copies. 1 for me, and 1 for my good friend, Jack.
arrrgh @ Oct 25th 2007 11:32AM
hahaha i worked on saw4. it get's pretty damn brutal
Sean @ Oct 25th 2007 11:54AM
Rockstar should send a copy to Jack Thompson. I think that'd be pretty funny.
I'll give the Wii version a rent, I think.
Word of the street(IDF-Digital Ruler). @ Oct 25th 2007 1:04PM
You know I feel like playting manhunt I might give it a try.
Sieged Eagle @ Oct 25th 2007 3:06PM
This game is sick, yet fun to play. I can't remember the time I was playing this game and then my mom came into my room and saw Cash beheading someone with a barbed wire and she went in a rampage.
I might check it out first when it comes out, and if I like it, I might get it by the end of the year for the Wii. If not, I'll pass.
Ethan @ Oct 25th 2007 3:18PM
It is like the kid at the back throwing pens around to get attention. Wtf are they quoting the bible for?
Poisoned Al @ Oct 25th 2007 5:02PM
God, that is one fugly game! Nice to know we're aren't missing much here in the UK.
