Are those nasty pirates orchestrating their revenge after Nintendo sunk their chips earlier this week? According to a posting on NeoGAF, an unsavory EB Games employee decided to take the contents of an in-store Super Mario Galaxy demo disc and share it with the online world. Though the demo is usually constrained by a 10-minute time limit, the disc reportedly contains the full game and is fully accessible through use of a modified Wii console. As the pirate site offering the code isn't specified or linked to, it's difficult to verify whether or not Mario's currently making his way down some shady pipes.
We contacted a Nintendo spokesperson for confirmation, only to be informed that we were the first to alert them of the development. Note that in the event of the rumor being true, posting of download links or impressions in the comments sections will be met with permanent bans and disapproving glares.

the point is, he is naysaying but either too lazy or incapable of seeing for himself, wants someone else to bring him proof, like proving it to a guy on joystiq is somehow validating your existence. I could find it I'm sure without too much trouble, only thing is:
1: I don't care.
2: My wii isn't modded so why bother?
3:I don't have to prove anything, it probably is leaked, any fool can google 0-day warez, and find out that this is hardly the unknown phenomina that psaakryn makes it out to be.

Again, if it's NeoGAF, it's false, and they wordfiltered Joystiq, so why are you letting them insult you like that AND still treat them as a legitimate news source? This "news" is rubbish...

I'm shocked - I thought Wii games would at the very least have some sort of protection that wouldn't allow anyone to copy the game so easily. I -heard- that the Gamecube had a very strong encryption-based copy protection. Why didn't they do something even stronger for the Wii? :(

Just got home from work, (local Game Crazy) was very surprised when i seen a full copy of Mario Galaxy. Now i wasn't sure if it was the full version or not so i checked out are INTERANET (the internet but without the web, just new memos) and it states that its the full version and for no reason at all should it leave the store. Also states that anyone playing the game for more the ten min. should be asked to leave kindly. and after they leave, the saved data should be deleted. No one can video tape or take pics for the game either! pretty weird for Nintendo to not just make a real demo, i mean its not hard. btw, i played about an hour into it, loved every second of it!!

I say again
Bottom Line: If it's on the NET, it's fair game.

well, i live in colombia where modded wiis come for the price of apples. So here i am going to download and try my game to see if it works here. Umm really i am not buying the games not because of the price but because traveling from US to Colombia is to expensive and i dontcare really for Nintendo. What i recommend is to buy the game but personally i am not buying it.
