Prolific power publisher EA has confirmed rumors of internal restructuring efforts, downplaying the effect of any potential layoffs. As reported by GameDaily BIZ, staff reviews are currently underway to bring "costs in line with revenues" throughout the many groups, studios, divisions and lairs contained within the corporation. "This was a small and somewhat routine event for this time of year when many of our titles are finished and being shipped," notes EA, obviously excluding the recently delayed Army of Two. "The action included small numbers of people across studio, publishing and corporate divisions."If you've been the unfortunate target of such action, be sure to send us a link to your spouse's angry blog.
