On the next Podcast, I would like to hear "You'll Be In My Heart" by Phil Collins.

Sung by Justin McElroy. Joystiq Writer, Master of the boner drawing art, and a singer so good that even Odin bows to him.
kennethrios @ Oct 26th 2007 1:15PM
I thought that guy from Superbad was the master of the boner drawing
Vegnagun @ Oct 26th 2007 1:23PM
Justin drew a good enough boner for Daffy Duck to leap onto it and ride it to town. Beat that.
Horrible choice of words : /

First time I ever listened to Joystiq Podcast. I was not offended. I may listen again. My favorite host is Ludwig he keeps me internationally informed.

deng... now thats a purdy graphic. my only complaint is that the 'gooey mac' style of letter lighting is becoming scarily ubiquitous in design relating to computers. Apple products, vista, wii and now... joystiq D:
(yeah, the effect was already on the new main page logo.. but now it's more prominent with the whole bkg bar and other letters being lit the same)
in other news, the ray background matches the godzilla 'stiq shirts! huzzah!

RU-RU-RUUMOR BLASSt Asst Ass!!!! Sooo funny--this is what the actual intro clip to the show should sound like. Now that you have a fancy logo those sweet sound clips should start flowing.

One of the most unique games for the PS3 is actually Folklore, it has received mixed reviews from critiques...but it has been getting very good reviews 8.5 and above for users reviews.
More games like this that are sleeper hits will help boast PS3 sales purely by word of mouth. I think by years end the Folklore will be close to 1 million units sold.
I am not a big fan of PS3 even though I own it, with that said I think that the PS3 has enough potential to be a great system…too bad there is not enough “unique’ gaming experiences to keep it moving forward. Games like Mass Effect, Halo 3, Bioshock, Orange Box, and Forza 2. The 360 has the developer support which is great, but the PS3 will never succeed by itself…devs make the console, period.

So I just listened to the last 2 podcasts in a row, I downloaded the other one and forgot that I had it sitting idly on my mp3 player. So, as I was carrying a bucket of really hot water + degreaser (I clean a garage) running the last podcast, the line about bionic commando (what if he had a human arm where he could just hug people with?) came on. I laughed so hysterically, I dropped it all over myself, burning myself in both the temperature sort of way, and likely in the "chemical burn" way. I laughed in an equally hysterical manner with the R-R-R-RUMOR BLAST!!! line, but fortunately was carrying no liquids.
Thanks Justin, you jerk.
P.S. - Working for 2 hours with a wet midsection is no fun.
Mischa @ Oct 29th 2007 7:35AM
Speaking of bionic commando, have you noticed that the genre on the marketplace is "swing action"? That sounds pretty amazing to me.

Oh crap, I'm late. A friend just IM'd me to tell me I was famous! Holy crap! Wow!
Ok I'm doing better... I just listened to it. I have 2 comments and 1 question.
1) Oh crap this song is by the Vitamen! I heard this song a year ago in a They Might Be Giants podcast and fell in love with it, but never found out who it was. Now I know. Now I can find the album with this ultimate jam. Thank you.
2) Justin McElroy has quickly become the heart and soul of Joystiq. He's selling weed and T-shirts to keep the site running, and yet he's still got the balls and that devil-may-care attitude to tell fans to jump off a pier. AND HE SAID MY NAME!!! ZOMG!
3) Does anybody on the Joystiq team like Smash Bros. at all?
BRUSH WITH FAME SUCKERS! IT'S ALL MINE! All this week I get to troll.... right?
Justin McElroy @ Nov 2nd 2007 10:14AM
That's weird Rubang, that's the same place I heard the song.
