That's really... strange. I wonder what's next a guy who had plastic surgery so his head can actually fit in the Halo 3 Master Chief cat helmet playing Rock Band. But anyways rock on!
- Oh and in honor of haloween coming up I present my new avatar: A zombified mutant elf demon, Mario!

Wow, that dude has his Wii and AppleTV (not sure on that) teeter-tottering on top of his PS3?
nxtiak @ Oct 27th 2007 12:19AM
wtf was I thinking appletv. whatever that thing is, it has a disc slot.
Farseer (GDI) @ Oct 27th 2007 12:33AM
All I know is that his wiring job looks nasty!
I bet he thought his mask and new black guitar would distract the viewer from the jumbled mess behind his EC. :)

lol i came into the comment section to say just that. why the hell would he put the Wii...or anything for that matter...on top of the curvaceous PS3? my Wii and PS3 both stand vertical, it saves a lot of space.
can't say much on the wiring though as mine also looks like shit lol. hey it gets everything connected and playing though!

Gasp! This person isn't a fanboy!

I could one-up that with a Boba Fett costume, but that's a bitch to play Guitar Hero in, what with the horrid field of vision, the uncomfortable plastic armor and the distortion the helmet creates on sounds in general.
Chameleon @ Oct 27th 2007 1:22PM
i was thinking the same thing
E.J. @ Oct 27th 2007 1:55AM
Rosco, you are outrageous.
Not funny-outrageous, but horrible-outrageous.
We still love ya tho.
Mighty Shockwave @ Oct 27th 2007 3:09AM
This gives me an idea: do a video where my leader-class figures play "The Touch" in Guitar Hero. God, I have no life.
Blast Processing Megadrive @ Oct 27th 2007 3:55AM
Oh, yeah, just occured to me... Optimus Prime pointing always makes me think of Robot Chicken...
"Hi, I'm Optimus Prime, and what you just saw was a dramatization. Now, we Transformers don't have internal organs, and can't get cancer... But you DO, and you CAN!"

Why Does the axe have a Wire coming out of it ??
Ben Kuchera @ Oct 27th 2007 11:08AM
Hey guys. First off, I was flabbergasted to see this picture up on Joystiq. I put it up after a reader dared me to wear the Optimus Prime mask while playing with the demo Guitar Hero 3 controller, and then I decided to make a silly thread about it.
You can read the original post with the picture in the comments here:
http://arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.ars/2007/10/23/five-things-to-do-in-the-360-guitar-hero-3-demo-available-today-on-live
The shirt says "Real men drink Ouzo."
The guitar has a wire because it's part of a demo unit that was sent to retail stores and gaming press. The neck also doesn't disconnect.
The wiring job sucks because I've been meaning to work on it, and have yet to do so. The white thing people are asking about is a four-port HDMI switcher I'm reviewing, which is another reason why the wires all look freshly ripped up.
I can't tell you how funny it is that THIS is where the picture ended up. Have fun guys!
aC @ Oct 27th 2007 4:58PM
haha Ben, just saw this and was going to e-mail you when I saw your reply. You're (Joystiq) famous man! ;)
Farseer (GDI) @ Oct 30th 2007 2:04PM
I have to apologize for my crack about your wiring job. I'd been drinking a bit and, for some reason, felt really judgmental. :)
I am a bit anal about my wiring jobs, though - if you couldn't tell - I just think that with all my high-tech toys, it helps to provide the best presentation possible (so the wife will let me buy more).
malcom @ Oct 27th 2007 3:07PM
i love that mask..

Ben, that's my fault, I saw the link from Arsclan and sent a tip on it to here, I'm just surprised it made it up.
