Got the family or friends around? Then go test the
Scene It demo now on Xbox Live. Sure, you won't get the fancy
big controllers that come with the game (pictured), but it's a good chance to see if it'll be worth picking up this holiday season. The only thing it says in the Xbox Marketplace description currently is "sell," but if the
full game is anything like the demo they'll have no problems doing that.
Scene It can either be family friendly fare or diabolic drinking game.
The full
Scene It is expected Nov. 6 and will retail for $60, which includes the four big button controllers. There is currently no other announced use in the future for these controllers beyond
Scene It and its guaranteed XBM expansion packs. We're just going to go ahead and say it again: We want XBLA
You Don't Know Jack!

Guess you missed the update to Uno to use the controller pads. ;)
Van Faulk @ Oct 28th 2007 12:58PM
I played it and it is pretty fun. Not enough t po make me buy it of course. Especially since the board game scenes it alreayd worke with the 360.
Jonah Falcon @ Oct 28th 2007 1:02PM
It's pretty fun, but it's not going to be good without at least 3 players playing.

Why has my avatar reset?
genpacker @ Oct 28th 2007 1:04PM
You Don't Know Jack! would be amazing with this setup. It's a good trivia game with nice comedy, and it spooked me out when it said my name. Of course i'm sure it had a bunch of pre-recorded popular names in it, but spooky none the less.
logikil @ Oct 28th 2007 1:42PM
This was pretty fun. I played it with my fiancee and she liked it as well, so if the purpose is to get non-gamers or casual gamers playing i think it will be pretty successful. This will get play time on Thanksgiving, no question, along with some Wii Sports.

Microsoft: Ripping off companies while you sleep, 24/7.
Jonah Falcon @ Oct 28th 2007 5:37PM
Scene It? debuted in 1998. Buzz debuted in 2005. LOL
Buzz is a ripoff of You Don't Know Jack anyway. hehe
Vegeta (aka Ska Oreo) @ Oct 28th 2007 6:54PM
How is Microsoft ripping off companies? Did I miss something, or is this guys stupidity making me confuse?
Tim @ Oct 28th 2007 2:58PM
Microsoft: Making you so jealous of a platform's continued success that you actually log into and comment on a post regarding that platform, 24/7.

I want to see the return of "You Don't Know Jack: The Netshow" to Xbox Live Arcade. That would be awesome!
Charron @ Oct 28th 2007 8:59PM
^ This. YDKJ! hasn't gotten nearly the love it deserves as of late, even with their Flash game.
Neil Christie @ Oct 28th 2007 3:13PM
This game is such a rip off of Buzz for PS2. Even the controllers are practically identical.
Jonah Falcon @ Oct 28th 2007 5:33PM
Pssst. Scene It? predates Buzz by YEARS, stupid.
Oh, and please... a Sony fanboy accusing another console of ripping something off? (laugh)
Synner @ Oct 29th 2007 5:59AM
Not to mention that scene it was announced, then Sony in typical me too fashion announced buzz a month later.
gonk @ Oct 28th 2007 3:32PM
i tried the demo a couple days ago but the regular 360 controller only worked for the first 2 questions, wtf
Jonah Falcon @ Oct 28th 2007 5:34PM
You have to use the D pad on the regular controller to "buzz" the question before you can answer. On the Big Button Controller, you'll slap that big central button.
Derek H @ Oct 28th 2007 11:28PM
No Scene it? ripped of Buzz for consoles. Buzz was released in europe for the PS2 before the even announced Scene it? and the controllers are a dead ringer.
Derek H @ Oct 28th 2007 11:31PM
Sorry for the double post but heres a link, take note of the release date 21 Oct 2005.

Synner @ Oct 29th 2007 6:03AM
just out of curiosity, how do the buzz controllers hook up to the PS2? Just wonderinz since I'll be playing it on PS3 and don't want special adapters.
zozart @ Oct 29th 2007 12:19AM
How many ways are there to do one-handed quiz controllers with a buzzer and four buttons? I'm sure the Buzz developers aren't going to lose any sleep over the similarity.
rokerovakero @ Oct 29th 2007 4:14AM
I know. Their lawyers are, taking Microsoft to courts either means go are going to get filthy rich or filthy poor.
And Next year's Microsoft's new party title:
"Where in the World is Carmen Sanfrancisco?"
Synner @ Oct 29th 2007 6:11AM
I know you aren't seriously accusing MS of ripping off sony?
let's see:
Sony: Motion controls are so lame and gimmicky
2 weeks later: PS3, now with motion!!!!!
Sony: Having multiple versions of your system will be confusing to customers.
Launch: PS3 in 2 unexiting packages!!
6mos later: New PS3 model announced!!!
3 mos later: Yet another PS3 model announced!!
Let's not forget the old PS commercials where Crash Bandicoot was to be the PS1's Edgy new mascot, standing outside nintendo HQ calling out Mario... it's bad enough trying to copy nintendo's branding everything on their system after one character, but then trying to get your imitation recognized by using their brand as a comparison, then to top it all of, losing the exclusivity of your character.. HA, those commercials were basically saying "we're like nintendo, only extreme!!!"
rokerovakero @ Oct 29th 2007 4:17AM
and of course I'm jealous of Microsoft, wouldn't you like to be the richest in the world too?
deaftly @ Oct 29th 2007 9:48AM
"Scene It can either be family friendly fare of diabolic drinking game."
*head explodes*
leo2178 @ Oct 29th 2007 11:28AM
Not a bad game, but not worth $60.
I'll wait for it to hit the bargain bin.
Plus I'm sure the expansions are going to be ridiculously priced like most marketplace expansions.
Lemmiwinks @ Oct 29th 2007 12:39PM
YDKJ on Xbox Live = 360 sold to me.
Slvrgun @ Oct 29th 2007 11:22PM
I think this is going to be loads of fun.
