Wow, could there be a more blatant rip-off of Scene It 360?

Scene it? came out in 2007, while Buzz has been out since 2005.

I'm not referring to the origin of the core game itself, just the video-game counterparts. I'm comparing the fact that Buzz PS2 will end up being exactly like Scene It 360. Sony is quickly becoming the "Me Too!" company. The Wii has motion controls....oh wait Sony does too! Well, the 360 will have a hit trivia game with unique controllers.....oh wait Sony will too...

Thats all I'm saying.

Nope I was wrong, he was really that clueless.

You do realize that this has been a big hit in the UK for like the last year (and SingStar) with those controllers and that Sony announced back in May that they were going to finally be bringing the game to the states , way before E3 and Microsoft press conference. It was one the biggest "how blantenly can you be" awards when Microsoft showed off the controllers which were literally the same ones that UK Sony had out for a year.

No prob, its understandable... Sony added waggle which was also blanten. Everybody steal from everybody. And before anybody say the Wii is original needs to go look at all the light guns/$30 kid's arcade interactive games with the bats and steering wheels and such that was selling before the Wii. The Wii was smart enough to take from an untapped market vs looking at whats the hot thing from other people are doing and taking it from there.

Buzz has been around ages in Europe so I'm pretty sure that Buzz is not copying Scene-it but vice versa. I despise Sony but even I can admit that they may not have copied this unlike they did with motion controls and other things through the years.

Yea I remember when all the reports were laughing at the Scene It unveiling at E3 and were like "they blantenly copied the PS2 controller for the UK" Smart of 360 to get the Scene It name brand for there trivia game though, as it most known in the US. Of course you have to pay royalty fees to the "Scene It" name brand owner vs creating the IP concept in house.

It would be interesting to see how well these sell on the more "core" systems, especially the 360.

seems like a pretty cool game to play with friends. Though I think Scene it is going to be a bigger hit, mostly because it's Scene it.

Buzz is a lot of fun when you are drunk and in the company of mates.

I can't believe that it hasn't been released in the US before.

Apparently, it will work fully with the 60GB PS3. The controllers are connected to a USB hub-type box. There not wireless like the Scene It! for 360. I guess I'll pick it up for the family—looks fun.

The Buzz games all work on the PS3, but the Mega Quiz crashed after about 20 minutes last time we played it.

Man, if Sony wanted to make back some of the money they've been bleeding over the past 2 years, they should license this out for the Wii. No brainer, really.
