Awesome. I was beginning to think that Enchanted Arms was going to be the "best" traditional RPG we'd get. God, that game still haunts my dreams with it's terribleness...blech!

Okay deal - mine! I'm starved for a good RPG. I almost cried when I realised how bad Enchanted Arms was.

Enchanted Arms was that bad I take it =/ ...

Good thing I didn't decide to pick it up then, I am waiting for White Knight Story, FF 13, Last remenant, and now this one. I know there is more but those are the only ones I can remeber off the top of my head.

=)

I love these types of games - especially anything different. New bonus stuff sounds great to me, I just hope that they tighten up the gameplay that the 360s players were complaining about!

I rather they release the game at $39-49 instead of adding some contents and then releasing it at the full $59.

Funny, I thought of Enchanted Arms, too. I had rented it then saw it for less than $20 at Gamestop, but didn't pick it up. I do hope this is better. After playing Enchanted Arms, which offered nothing on the order of a next-gen experience (simple, slow graphics, plodding gameplay (though the cutscenes were nice-- they're just as nice on almost any ps2 game you can mention, also), I started researching and playing ps2 RPG's... then all these new games came out and I haven't even thought about RPG's, so I'll be looking forward to this one.

Here's a funny and unsettling story that happened to me a few days ago.

I went to the Namco-Bandai website the other day and I noticed that all of the PS3 information for Eternal Sonata had been taken down. When I emailed NB about why the info had been taken down they sent me this email:

"Thank you for contacting Namco Bandai's Customer Support Department.

Eternal Sonata has already been released and is available for purchase for the Xbox 360. We have not made any official announcement about other platforms and apologize for any confusion caused by the erroneous web site listing.

Please feel free to contact us again in the future as the need arises"

Now, they said in the email that it was an "erroneous web site listing" yet did we not actually see pictures and videos at TGS 07 followed by an announcement that this was actually happening?

If so then why has Namco-Bandai suddenly gone hush hush about this? Also, why are they still releasing "extra-content" information when they are still denying a PS3 port?

I hope that this one Customer rep was just off his rocker and completely crazy. I really want to play Eternal Sonata on my PS3 but I'm kinda having a hard time figuring out just what the hell NB is up too.
