Money Quotes:
"I want my teenage sons playing Madden and NBA" Right...because sports aren't aggressive or glorifying any negative lifestyles choice..

"..and know that a 17 year old can walk in and buy this at a store?" Amazing! Then they can walk across the street and watch Hostel II with a break for Saw IV. Those movies will really put things in perspective...

A) I hate websites that insist on resizing your browser
B) They also haven't gotten buffering very well figured out.

Just terrible.

I never bought the argument that Dr. Phil blamed video games for anything. He makes the sensible argument that violent people are attracted to violent media. Joystiq and Game Politics.com made it seem like he said much worse. He even clarified what he said on David Letterman a few days later. (Can't find Youtube link).

Gamerdad had it just spot-on (don't have the link handy and too lazy to go search). He said, basically, "Look at the box, parents! It's obviously scary! It's rated "M" for 17+! DON'T BUY IT FOR YOUR 12-YEAR-OLD!"

There's not much to add to that.

Modeling? Modeling? What do you call putting real GUNS in the hands of 18yr olds and sending them off to WAR by the hundred thousands? What kind of modeling is it when they kill and watch friends die? Modeling because someone plays a game? GTFO.

It's not that they don't know how to use embeddable code, it's just that they don't want you to embed it.

Seemed like a pointless segment... but it didn't seem unfair or unbalanced. Just: so what?
