Uncharted demo to arrive on Nov. 8
You now have a reason to look forward to Nov. 8, other than the chance to celebrate the birth of your personal favorite blogger. It's also the date on which Sony will be dropping a demo for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune on to the PlayStation Network.
Not only is the demo just one week away (huzzah!), but, according to CVG, it's going to be four-levels long, which sounds pretty hefty for a sample. We're sure that will be a welcome diversion as you pass the time while the birthday cake is baking.

Brian Ashcraft's birthday is November 8th?
Man, I gotta get him a present! Thanks for the reminder, Justin McElroy!

Wow that pic of Peach is so wrong...

It isn't fair really. Naked Mario's always ugly, but naked Peach always looks better. (though being not obese might help somewhat, but Luigi doesn't seem to fare better, mostly because like in the games, he's always overlooked, or something. I'm starting to ramble now, ignore what I said. Really. Nothing to see here. Shoo.)

Happy birthday, Ludwig!

Nice. This is the only Sony exclusive that is not at least the 4th sequel of a franchise that I am really interested in. I hope the demo is great.

the cake is a lie.

how big will this download be? they say that the entire game is around 24 gigs. must be a lot of levels too.

Though I'd bet it's a completely seamless experience from start to finish, ala God of War.
Jake @ Nov 1st 2007 10:51AM
Well, they have to keep the demo under 2 Gb to be reasonable. I don't know if anyone has released a demo larger than that yet. "4 Levels" can mean a lot of things. Technically, The Darkness Demo was I believe 4 levels, yet wasn't particularly long.
Noshino @ Nov 1st 2007 11:20AM
it SHOULD be within 2 Gigs, take in mind that on the 24 gigs of the disc, there is also many languages included, also many extras like commentaries, videos with the producers, the cast, etc

Sorry, I'll be too busy celebrating my own birthday on that day to care about yours.

I hate to say this, but despite all the G4 coverage of this game (with them basically begging people to buy it) and the other game blog coverage, noone wants this game. It truly does seems EXACTLY like tomb raider, but without the girl to make it sell. And yes, there will probably be someone directly below this that claims to want it, and yes I believe him, but on a hype-o-meter scale of 1 to 10, this thing is a 1 (or even non-existant on the scale) for most gamers.
Put this game against the other blockbuster titles coming out, and it has absolutely no chance.

@BananaBoat
Everything you said was true... except for ALL OF IT.
Huge title, Sony will be backing this thing BIG come November, you can count on it.

Still no me for the PS3.
