question and a comment

q: how is the analogue stick used in this game and can it played with out it? I hate the nub and have been known to not play games simply because the mandatory use of it ( monster hunter for example ) I don't mind light use of the analogue a la final fantasy tactics or jeanne d'arc

c: It seems your review runs contrary to IGN's review with regards to the AI and graphics. while I trust your review far more then IGN's I am surprised that they are so conflicting. perhaps you can read IGN's review andrew and post a rebuttal

please disregard my previous post as I absurdly confused this game with the new swat game. MY BAD! This game actually so far has an average rating of

IGN.com 11/01/2007 7.0 /10 7.0
GameSpy.com 11/01/2007 4 /5 8.0
7.5

sorry about the first post, I am sure Andrew is Spot on and I can't wait I might add to get this game.

I just read IGN's review and came away from it a bit disappointed. I don't know how anyone can dispute the graphics, especially when you take a quick glance at the screenshots. These levels are massive, the framerate is smooth, and there's real-time physics and destructibility on many in-game objects. Don't understand how that's a bad thing...

PSP is just a SRPG/Tactical game players dream system. With this and Warhammer 40K,FFT,Jean D'Arc, Disgaea. Wow, get your skill points ready.

1UP gave the game a 60%, citing horrible team-mate AI as the primary reason for the low score. That hurts, but I'd love to see PSPFanboy respond to the 1UP review, specifically defending that area which 1UP is trashing. I'm curious to see how PSP-F defends their score in the face of this other review.

The game actually plays like "FULL SPECTRUM WORRIOR"on ps2. I finished the socom game on easy, unlocked and bought some cool ass weapons,& upgraded my soldiers skills. I then went to play again on hard & it said i will loose all weapons & skill upgrades if i start a new game? Thats lame! whats the use of upgrading skills & weapons if you can only use them on that difficulty level. Still an awsome game, even with the flaw i mentioned.
