Worldwide PS3 releases for the week of November 5th

Remember, remember the fifth of November - gunpowder, treason and ... games? Was that corny? Yes, it was - but you try coming up with these intro paragraphs every week. This week the holiday games lineup continues to continue with some more heavy hitters, including Call of Duty 4 and the European release of Ratchet and Clank. Here's the full release list:

So when the fireworks finally end (in a couple of weeks - we all know how long "November 5th" seems to last these days), chances are you'll still be too busy playing any of this week's excellent offerings. Don't get complacent or over-spendy yet, however. There's more great releases to come in the coming weeks. Honestly, we're spoilt nowadays.

A new feature we're introducing, starting this week, is that we'll be linking to any reviews of newly released games that we've already posted. Hopefully this will help you answer your internal "to buy, or not to buy" quandries. All PS3 games are region free, so feel free to import. Release dates are hard to pin down, so be sure to contact your local retailer to make sure your game of choice is available before leaving the house.

I was going to get COD4 until I found out about the single player length. I'm sticking with Haze. I might get COD4 used if its a good price but its unlikely.

Everyones favourite PS3 downers don't apply anymore. Its not too expensive and it has games.

Thank god I watched V for Vendetta or I would have never caught were that came from.

Call of Duty 4 for me. How long really is the campaign? But the multiplayer is supposed be awesome.

Thanks. I didnt come here to bash the 360, I only came to bask in the glory that is the PS3. Although I can agree with the fact that no one can complain about the games for the PS3 any longer(I was of the opinion for awhile, but now no one can deny it). I was actually thankful last week when the releases were rather weak. Gave me a chance to save $ for another week, but I don't know if I can hold off COD or Legos

I've finished R&C three times already and still can't put the game down. Who knew taking a wrench (and a butt load of other weapons) to a bunch of villians would be so fun!

Play on, play hard...I like it!

Call of Duty 4 is going to be great, but i'm really looking forward to Killzone 2, Haze, MGS4 and SOCOM.

damn circuit city is giving away pleeennnntty stuff if you buy the 360 version of CoD4

Well my copy of COD4 is paid for so I'll end up getting a suprise in the mail this week. Gotta love this month. I get a game shipped on the tuesday of each week. All it took was a beating from my wife when she realise how much cash I dumped on games.

Strangely enough my most anticipated game is Mass Effect... and its the only 360 game Ive bought since Crackdown.

@16: Just tell your wife what I tell mine, either I can be out drinking and getting expensive lapdances, or playing video games at home. It's a win every time. :)

ratchet i got last week 340hkd abt 43us.
graw was out 2 months again.
i also saw conan and jerico in stores already. is it any good? out in the us already?

me in hong kong by the way. and also not on import official hk version but the games are in english.

actually, Ratchet and Clank, COD:4 both come out on the 9th, NOT the 5th.. that's for the UK anyways. ultra mega sadface right here :(

Seriously though, I didn't like the demo. Funky battle mechanic, some strategy involved but not enough to win me over.

Frank, the people here have every right to bash 360. They've endured tons of abuse and pot-shots from the 360 community. I'm fine with them giving a little back. Just don't let it get too far out of hand... keep it civil (unlike that "grow up" comment).
