SEVENaxis? I want to see how they try to explain this. With six axis you can detect any possible movement in three dimensional space. Other then that it looks like a nice alternative.

I hope you can customize buttons to macros. Like L2 to "Up twice" or L1 to "Down Twice"... that would make Tekken much nicer, I suck so badly at side stepping.

If it has the sixaxis tilt controls, rumble FOR PS3 games that support it, and a good wireless/responsive connection, then I am definitely looking into buying this.

the triggers are already better than the Sixaxis. the ones it comes with tend to slip, curving them in like the 360 and Gamecube triggers is definitely a step in the right direction.

It's sevenaxis since the six are for a three dimensional space. The seventh axis, presumably, implies the fourth dimension--time and space--can be bent and moved forward and backward.

But it has programable buttons? Hard to swallow, that one.

INTERESTING!

Do let us know if the vibration actually works. Now would be the window of opportunity for third parties, since Dual Shock 3 won't be available till next spring.

@6
The addition of the seventh axis time machine will certinly prove to be an unfair advantage in online play.

Sevenaxis FTW!

I'd have to feel it in my hand to decide if it is indeed Master of Thrust.

O_O

I'm shocked! Thrustmaster was one of the first and best (IMHO) of the hard-core PC joystick makers! I remember having a flight sim setup using their product - programmable buttons were something that they really always delivered on, so with them making a PS3 joystick... THIS IS AWESOME! I'm going to get one! Can't wait! =)

"Dual Triggers" which is pretty moot, since you kinda need those for PS2/PS3 games

The Dual Triggers are actually an extra set of L2/R2 buttons on the bottom of the controller. I was looking at these in Game and it looks pretty good but the optical wheel things just looks stupid.

@2

You suck so badly at side stepping in TEKKEN because to side step in TEKKEN you just tap up or down once! :)

This thing has been out since may, no rumble on the PS3 and no motion sensors.

It's also under $30, at least where I've seen it.
