1UP reports that Cory Barlog shall not pass his SCEA Santa Monica colleagues in the hallway anymore, as he's decided to leave the studio in order to pursue other opportunities, none of which are likely to involve James Lipton. The game director most notably took the reins of the Grecian testosterone epic, God of War II, from David Jaffe (who also recently departed SCEA to form his own studio) and ultimately oversaw one of this year's finest PS2 games.
According to a Sony spokesperson, the publisher is grateful for Barlog's "work and creative vision for the critically acclaimed God of War franchise", but is also confident that the remaining team will successfully churn out "epic content with God of War: Chains of Olympus for the PSP and God of War III for PS3." Yes, that's the same God of War III which remains officially unannounced but completely expected. Try not to muck it up, Mr. Barlog's replacement!

Not LotR:O
Its the last gen game, that came out after the movies were released.
You take the path of three very similar (but not quite the main characters from the movies) and your story interweaves with those from the actual story.
In this case, fighting the balrog with gandalf.

This franchise must be haunted. It keeps eating careers. Next thing you know Barlog is gonna make some downloadable pick-up-and-play games and bitch and moan about the review scores on his blog. Then he'll move out to the desert and disappear.

Of course they are! I needed a nice bright solid color for proper moustache contrast. It's long enough to stick in my eyes now.

Legend has it that once your moustache is long enough to stick in your ears, you get to be the king of Joystiq. Here's the full pic. Bask in my face power!

Hell yeah pink's hardcore! I have a matching pink Wii remote sleeve and a candy pink (Japanese import only) DS Phat (with a pink DS Lite rumble pak so my white DS Lite doesn't get jealous). And I bought the pink outer layer in Harajuku and wear it every day! And that's only 1 out of my 3 pink wifebeaters.

God of War will never be the same. I wonder if he's leaving to go join this: http://www.hhgl.com ? Their headquarters is right down the street in Santa Monica. It looks pretty cool. I can't tell if it's real or not? What do you guys think?
