If they got Jade Raymond of Ubisoft to do a spread in the magazine, I would spend one thousand dollars on it.

There's nothing wrong with sequels as long as they build on the previous game's flaws and fundamentals. There becomes a problem when you just pump out sequel after sequel for a quick buck. Sorry Nintendo, I love you, but you need to take Mario Party out back and shoot it.

Agree, sequelitis isn't bad per se, but a flood of sequels in a short space of time will kill a popular idea quickly

Playing with the basic formula too much (Sonic, Starfox) can also turn sequelitis into a deadly disease

I thought the Dave Jaffe interview was excellent.

I agree, this line was my favorite out of all the interviews,"People don't buy technology, they buy entertainment."

Thinking that the work filters won't allow a trip to Playboy.com (just a guess). Can anyone post the original article?

Monkey Island is ever-increasingly and errantly attributed to Tim Schafer. Though he worked on the early MI games, the series was created by Ron Gilbert of grumpygamer.com . Tim's a superstar, but I'm sure even he wouldn't want to take the credit for Ron's baby. (He co-created Day of the Tentacle with Dave Grossman, as well)

Yes but I thought that the series was supposed to be serious until Tim Schafer hopped on board.

Wow, so it sucks that won't be a wake-up call for other developers and publishers. You have to give the man a lot of credit the games he had a major hand in are fun and interesting.

The real question is: why does Playboy have more crap like this than naked women? I mean I have RSS's for a reason; when I open my Playboy I wanna see nudity!

Playboy has always had articles. Think Hunter S. Thompson.
