What's funny is that there still hasn't been an Unreal game on the Unreal Engine 3 yet.

Other than it's own namesake, i think the Unreal Engine has missed out on one crucial genre.

Typing trainers.

I therefore officially recommend that Mark Rein talks to whoever he has to talk to, so we can finally get "Typing of the Dead 2 : TYPE HARDER" off the ground.

just imagine the physics!!

I've played three games on this engine so far and I haven't really been impressed with the visual.

Bioshock was nice, but all the models were shiny, UT3 demo looked like crap, even with everything cranked at the highest, and the Frontlines Fuel of War Beta isn't a stunner either.

This engine just isn't all that impressive graphically. I wonder why it keeps getting used.

I dunno Marc, apparently you just aren't a fan of the Unreal series. I found the demo to be amazing and a perfect step-up in the series. The visuals in the game are in line with previous games and don't stray to far so maybe you just never appreciated the style of Unreal games.

On your Bioshock comment though I agree, then again I think the game was just a highly polished turd and noone could get past it's exterior beauty to notice it's bland gameplay.

I'm the President of Tripwire Interactive LLC, the developers of Red Orchestra. Destineer (through thier Bold Games label) distributed our game at retail in North America. So for the record, Destineer did not develop Red Orchestra, they just sold it. We're a fully independent developer, and created, funded, and developed Red Orchestra on our own. I'm not sure where this info for this story came from, but we haven't really announced anything yet regarding any upcoming titles we're developing.

I woulda liked to see Halo 3 on the UE3 with a more gritty feel.
