Currently popular on GameTrailers, we missed Skullkid700's montage of Zelda commercials from earlier in the year. Since this sort of thing only gets better with age, we're highlighting it here. We've come a long way.

My God! That Zelda rap was so horrible, it made me laugh my pants off!

Also, that OoT ad really brings back some good memories. I can't deny that, even though TP kicked ass, OoT is still for me and many others the best Zelda ever made.

Excuse me? THE Zelda rap? I saw TWO OUT OF THREE ZELDA RAPS in that montage. Thank you so much! However, it's missing my favorite Zelda rap (with amazing dance sequence): The Japanese Zelda rap/dance commercial for Link to the Past! In fact, it's not just my favorite Zelda rap, it's quite possibly my favorite commercial ever.

It`s ついに出る not すい.

Sui would have absolutely no meaning.

Actually, I`d say that "water" is the most common meaning. In fact, I can`t even think of a single instance where it means acid when on it`s own. That`s "san".

Yeah I thought it was sui as in water, as in suiyoubi, which is why I heard it that way I guess.

Anybody else find it interesting that the Wind Waker commercial shows Zelda (presumably, if not Aryll) with a black cloak on in darkness long before Twilight Princess? I remember watching the commercial back in the day but I hadn't thought of that until now.

I'd never seen that commercial before and thats what automatically came into my mind. There is a huge chance that by the time Wind Waker was released, that the story for TP had already began to be made and they could have added that litle hidden hint for future gamers.

HAHAHAHAHA, i liked the one where he was falling out of the window while humping the triforce or whatever, then they had to TOP IT with snakerope!

i still remember a flash tub a year or so ago where the easter egg was the excuse me, but shmorky fucked with the sound and it was really funny

Holy crap, that second commercial with the guy in black has haunted my memories for decades and now it's back.

Often have I driven to work wondering WTF that commercial had to do with Zelda, and not being interestd in the game at all because of tha commercial, only later finding out how awesome the game was.

Damn you black suited high pitched zelda commercial man.
