I wonder what dance pad support they are adding. The one that came with DDR has always worked for Boom Boom Rocket.

One of the few arcade games I've fully purchased.

Love it.

That's odd. I thought that it already had guitar support. I used my Xplorer quite a few times with Boom Boom Rocket.

Maybe this is for wireless guitars like the Les Paul.

Guitars already work... Perhaps this means that you actually have to strum the bar in order for it to register?

Yeah. I downloaded the trial and played with the guitar, you have to strum while holding down the buttons, making it Guitar Hero + Fireworks - Orange button (praise Jebus!). I might actually buy it, I just need to add 500 points to my account to do so...

It was already worth the 500. The guitar makes it that much more awesome.

Now if only I hadn't lent my 360 to my brother...

I don't know, you were disappointed, but that seems like a pretty nice update, especially for free.

Has anyone tried this? Does it fix the annoying fireworks mask at the bottom of the screen on visualization mode?

It was already playable with the Dance Dance Revolution dance mat, but since this wasn't designed as a dancing game, it is pretty awful to play that way. This news is a lot less exciting than it sounds, as you'll find out if you try a dance mat with this game... but surely they want to try and cash in on the craze.
