The Forge system in Halo 3 is good for more than just littering a level with plasma swords and pretending you're in Star Wars. You can also use it to find the love of your life. Take, for instance, "Moviesign", who asked his lady friend "furtive penguin" to be his one-and-only by spelling out "Marry Me?" ... in weapons. We're not sure what kind of lady agrees to a proposal made of battle rifles, but we know she's a keeper.
Oh, and that sound you hear is a single tear splashing from Ted Nugent's eye onto the aluminum floor of his collapsible tree stand. He, like us, is hoping you two wango tango into eternity.

The only appropriate response is for her to stick him with a grenade and then T-Bag him.

Seems to me, by the pic, that he's asking her to marry him at gunpoint. Shotgun wedding, anyone?

I proposed to my fiancee via an "end user license agreement" attached to the ring. When we picked it up, I informed her that she could look at it all she wanted. But, "placing this ring upon any of your fingers constitutes implicit acceptance of an outstanding marriage proposal." I also informed her that, should she want a normal proposal, she could just wait.
She was able to hold out for five hours before the shiny thing entranced her. :)

So this isn't that weird but a marriage proposal in Viva Pinata is looked upon with eyebrows super-raised? Oh, gamers, you guys are awesome.

He totally should've melee'd her from behind while she was busy looking at the "Marry me" distraction.

This is so sweet!
I would absolutely go for this.
Also, in response to 'granted,' gamer girls can be plenty feminine. When I entered my game design classroom, they though I was lost because I was wearing a skirt and a pink top. (It probably would've been more obvious if my horde sweatshirt weren't in my backpack at the time)
Feminine ladies play games too and to think different is only encouraging the stereotype.

Anybody else get the feeling that this is contrived? I can imagine the email:
Joystiq! Guess what I just did!...
Meanwhile, some dude is sitting somewhere snickering about how he pulled one over on the joystiq crew (and the rest of the Internet, for that matter).
