We must remember, this is the same retailer that didn't want to sell the NES when it first came out.

Not going to be popular? What a weak excuse. That game has received so much publicity that it's a retailers dream! This is definately a case of BS to avoid controversy. Why can't they just simply tell the truth. It's their prorogative to stock what they want anyway.

the thing about this is that most shovelware available at TRU is nicktoons/movie game bs that uninformed parents are likely to buy. you think any uninformed parents are likely to buy dementium for their kid? hell, you think any INFORMED parents would get it for their kid?

This really doesn't surprise me as I have worked for Toys R Us for almost 3 years and have seen nothing but questionable decisions made.

How we are still around puzzles me.

I can understand why they sell Halo 3, I mean running around as a green Power Ranger, using toy guns, and shooting the purple blood out of enemies that giggle at you... probably does appeals to kids.
