I am betting on either Marvel Universe Online or Fable 2 to be axed. Both projects always seemed to be a bit shakey to me and both games still haven't got a release date.

My guess is Halo Wars. Yeah, that has to be it. Too Human is TOO close to completion. Fable 2 showed a lot of promise. Ninja Gaiden 2, no way, no how, they probably paid a ton of money to get that as an exclusive, and probably promised Itagaki he could molest Jade Raymond at Ubisoft. Microsoft will facilitate the meeting. Alan Wake,well.... we've read all the comments on here thus far, so I doubt that one too.

My best guess would be the Marvel property. It was one of the initial announcements along with the 360, but has barely been discussed since, and never really previewed.

In fact I was just thinking to myself last week, I wonder where it's at.

Any chance it's M$ Flight Sim X? They announced it a year ago and the Tokyo games show and haven't heard a thing since. Just a thought...

Rumor is, it's Alan Wake. You just don't want to say that because it's painful to think off. But it's Alan wake. At least according to rumor. The exec who's leaving is Shane Kim, no question.

Why is anyone putting anything to a rumor like this. Nothing is more funny then when someone says a game will certainly be canceled (97% chance) when that person doesn't know what game it is. Sounds like a BS page hit attempt. When there is no announcement, then you will not even remember about this stupid rumor.

Anyway for irony sake the best possible game would be the Peter Jackson game. Peter has moved on to other things which means the game and the Halo movie are on hold.

Fable 2 - If anyone paid attention to all the media that has come out for this game, why the heck would you think its Fable 2. Fable 1 sold tons, even if Fable 2 was a enhancement of 1 it would still sell great. There is absolutely nothing that would point into Fable 2 being canceled.

Too Human - Game is way to far along for it to be canceled not to mention it's not a first party title.

Banjo - Yeah right, MS needs a solid platformer and you can believe this title will not get canceled.

I liked the out of the box thinking on APB-- good guess.

and-- I know FASA was closed down, but I think everyone assumes Microsoft was going to continue Crimson Skies, right? could that be it?

my other thought was MechAssault-- do we know if Day 1 is still moving on that? (though after F.E.A.R. I don't know how excited I am for D1 projects anymore.)

Halo Wars, this game seems to have gone underground, and it seemed an ill-concieved idea from the first (although the great Mario Kart/Tennis/Golf/Strikers has shown us that good spinoffs can be done and re-done) but i don't see RTS fitting with the Halo universe (even though it looks like a perfect fit) as much as, say, Mass Effect's

definitely not alan wake, that game was looking awesome a year ago. i have a feeling its fable because it really isnt up to snuff in the graphics department. they should just take all of their interactivity and evolution technology and develop a new game using it.

I highly doubt it's Marvel Universe. After giving CoX away to NCSoft, Cryptic have a lot more time to spend with MU. MY money is on Halo Wars because there have only been a couple of very rough looking videos on it...
