Yeah I saw the review on Gamespot. It sais that its definatly the version to own. Oh well I guess Ill just have to see if later on in 3 or 4 months somehow they announce all that extra stuff for 360. I have a brand spanking new PC but its not for gaming. Meaning I dont have the Geforce 8800 crads and all that jazz. lol

I'm surprised Joystiq didn't do its usual "nintendo snub" and make it "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune" edition this week...

Anyways I'll be getting SMG and Geometry Wars for the Wii. NFS:ProStreet, Smackdown vs Raw, Assassin's Creed, and MAYBE Beowulf for my 360...

I'm gonna be so broke this week...

Im suprised Uncharted is mentioned at all considering its a next week release. There were rumors it was shipping earlier, but that hardly makes it set in stone.

See, you couldn't just accept that the place the game people are most excited about as the lead - here they did it, and you still had to say they are biased.

COD4 is definately the SHITE!! This weekend alone I got into several arguments with the wifey over ignoring her lol!! I kinda feel bad, but then I stab somebody from behind and I forget about it =)

Anyone know if Geometry Wars is at full price or if it is cheaper. I'd love to get it along with SMG for christmas but it may just be SMG I get.

I don't see why people complain about all the games being out this time of year. It makes sense for the games because means can compete for christmas sales.

You all say you are grown up and don't need your parents to buy your games but then why do you need the gaming industry to hold your hands and tell you when you should buy games. There is something called self control. Use it and all the games now, leave some and buy them at a time when there is a gaming drought so that you can always have new games, even when there are no new releases.

A lot of these games are going to under-preform, if not outright flop, though, because it's such a crowded holiday season. People just aren't going to remember them in 3 or 4 months. It would have made more sense to space these games out better throughout the year rather than pile them all on in mid-November.

Especially with the way the US economy currently is. I'll bet you that Assassin's Creed and Kane & Lynch in particular have underwhelming and lousy sales.

Mario Galaxy for suresies for me. I might even pick up Geometry Wars: Galaxies, if I'm feelin' spendy. AND King of Fighters, too. Oy!
I'm eventually going to pick up Smarty Pants for someone for Christmas, too.
Tomb Raider and RE: UC are already in my GameFly que, which, aside from the fact that it takes an insanely long amount of time to deliver games, has been a God-send. Looking at this week's release list, I'm thinking it's the best $22 bucks a month I've ever spend!
...and I've only got a Wii and PS2!

I also need to make a point to get to a friend's place this weekend and try out Uncharted.

Looks like a great week to be a gamer, regardless of your console choice. I hope Uncharted does come out this week...I've played through the demo 3 times so far, and I could use a new challenge.

Thank the gaming God that Ninja Gaiden 2 and Devil May Cry 4 are 2008. I'd have to duct tape 2 wallets together to get everything. I wish they sold time also. You know, time to play all these games.

I hear ya. I think I could afford 2 games on that list, but as far as time goes? I'm still playing my way through MP3, Final Fantasy XII, Bully, Wii Harry Potter Phoenix, Zelda DS, Lego Star Wars 2, Tomb Raider Anniversary. God damn those are a lot of old games. And the thing is - I really want to finish all of them.

This is a great week for gaming, and I'm sure most would agree that 2007 has been a phenomenal year for gaming.

Halo 3

Mario Galaxy
Assassin's Creed
Metroid Prime 3
COD4
Phantom Hourglass

and much more...

I am so glad I'm at a point where I can afford most of this stuff, but even still!

Also great week for the Wii, except for the stupid petz games. MOH:H2 will be the best controlled console FPS of all time if the previews are right. Mario Galaxy is obviously great, Tomb Raider Anniversary looks awesome on the Wii with the new controls, Umbrella Chronicles is a big one people have waited for... and let's not forget the new Mii channel and the cool VC releases this month like SMB3!

I don't buy KOFXI coming out, after how many times has it been delayed?

I'm getting Contra 4, and while I don't own any next-gen consoles, Assassin's Creed and Galaxy are both reason enough for me to want a 360 or Wii.

OMG. this is like great game overload! i was only planning on getting Mario Galaxy this week and i thought Uncharted was still like two weeks away. dammit. i was curious about the Geometry Wars for Wii too and i had already written Assassin's Creed off as a maybe until my wallet fattens back up again. and Haze is coming out in a week or 2 too, if memory serves.

this is the absolute worst time to be a poor, in-between-jobs college student! well im sure my friend will buy most of the PS3 games so ill just try um at his house first since he buys everything. seriously, i think he sells drugs or something since he has no visible source of income but buys everything!
