Wow, I'll be buying Creed and Kane & Lynch. I still have Call of Duty 4, which is still sealed in its packaging because I've been finishing BioShock and others.

Pro Street!? Yuck! I played the demo, I was like..WTF!? Is this? This is not NFS! This is a wanna-be Burnout! If I want damage, I'll go play Burnout 5!

Buying: Creed, K & L, Mass Effect

Rentals: Lego Star Wars TCS, Looney Tunes, and many others.

Awww man... I still have to beat Silent Hill 2 yet... Assassin's Creed is still going to be an early X-Mas present for myself.

The only games worth buying are Assassin's Creed, Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back, and Kane & Lynch.

Area 51 just does not seem fun to me and it lacks originality. I may rent it in the future but it is not on my game list now.

this is one of those rare times when it isn't actually too good to be true. assassins creed, kane & lynch, mass effect next week... and i'm also not gonna overlook soldiers of fortune. it was a shitload of fun back in the day blowing guys apart and now it's a prettified version of that. i'm pumped to say the least. here's hoping i have time in my day for a half hour of each of these four games.

I'm still going to be playing COD 4 until Mass Effect comes out, at which point I may lend it to a friend. We also might be going in halfsies on AC, just because of the lack of demo-ness.

Buying the AC/COD4 Bundle tomorrow...NFS ProStreet will have to wait. Mass Effect next week, and that is pretty much ALL that I am getting for the rest of this year.

I'll be busy playing all my 4 new games, AC6, AC, COD4, and ME. And I will be a BUSY BUSY man. :D

Oh and I'll need to find some time, probably over the Xmas break to finish up Forza 2 finally. Just that damn 1 million online credits achievement.

Mr zero - be careful with that. I just sold about 22 Xbox games, none of which I had finished and about 10 of which were still shrinkwrapped.

Alot of these games I bought when they were full retail price and as you can imagine, I didn't recoup anywhere close to what I paid for them originally.

Don't fall into the "too many games" trap !

But I'm only going to have ONE WEEK to play Assassin's Creed and Kane & Lynch before Mass Effect takes over my life!

"What the hell is a frugal gamer to do?"

Rent them and see which one's really deserve to be bought at retail price. That's what I just did w/ COD4 and I am really glad that I did.

It is okay and I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting, but it really left me wondering what all of the hype is about and "the multiplayer competes with Halo3", my ass. With the weapons upgrade system, the best I can tell is that you have to beat other people who already have the upgrades before you could obtain them and actually compete on equal footing... It was pretty lame, but certainly held my attention for the weekend.

Assassin's Creed is the next rental. I have been looking forward to this game and almost (EEK) bought a ps3 for it before it was also announced for the 360, but the gameplay videos and lack of demo really have me wondering.

Renting games is cool and all, but it does suck that most places don't have new games available until Friday and just hoping that they still have copies available by the time I get there.

I have Gamefly and you'd be surprised how many games you can do without actually buying when you have the service. I'm willing to bet most of these could be finished in a weekend.

I'm personally looking forward to Blacksite. I don't know that it's any less original than Soldier of Fortune.

Kane & Lynch's "co-op bank robbery" mode looks hot - you actually can try to betray your friends and keep all the money. (grin)

I have come to the Zen realization that I will never, ever be able to play all the A-list games I want. I was still playing Bioshock weeks after launch when everybody else had finished it, because I just don't get enough time to devote to my hobby. So I had an epiphany: I don't have to play any but the very highest-profile games right when they launch, and those only because I don't want surprise endings spoiled by blog chatter. The rest I'll just make a list of and get "later", where "later" might be a year down the line. At this rate, I'll still be buying holiday-season-released titles next summer.

Mass Effect has wrecked me.

I managed to purchase a copy two days ago, and have been outstandingly engrossed in it since then. Every spare moment has gone to it.

Now I gotta get Assassin's Creed, which is what I was planning on playing UNTIL Mass Effect came out; now I gotta do both.

With all this stuff coming out I find that the best decision I have recently made is to create a Gamefly account. I bought COD4 for my multiplayer needs and I can rent the rest for those times when I need to "play with myself."

Next week is going to be the worst. Mass Effect *and* the monster that is Rock Band?

I'm buying Assassin's Creed this week, but after that big purchase next week, I'm done until Burnout Paradise.
