BREAKING NEWS: Wow it seems IGN really hated Assassins Creed, 7.7! Or it could be that it indeed falls short of its expectations.

Metacritic has low critic scores of 67, 70, 70 (there are some high ones though). In the end, I guess it's up to you whether you enjoy the game or not. I'm kinda glad I didn't jump on the bandwagon, I'm sure Mass Effect won't dissapoint.

i'm remotely interested in both games...but since i don't live in the US and I'm getting a HELLUVA lot better deal with the AC/COD4 bundle, i'm not even going to fret. getting 2 amazing games for 75% of the total price is more awesome than getting 2 meh games (to me at least) for 42% of the combined new price of these 2...

hate to break the news (and this is off topic) but 7.5 scores are just right for Assassin's Creed. The game plays pretty good. Looks AMAZING! but... very very repetitive. There's a total of 9 hits (I just finished #8) and i'm sorry but hit #8 was the exact same process as the first one, and the second one, and the third one... it really becomes a chore. Lots of potential left for sequels but really this is not even close to GOTY worthy.

Well bioshock is worth $18 at EB/GS so you could trade that in and effectively get The Darkness for $31

Black Friday is fairly a 360 bust. Crap games cheap, 10$ off on some new AAA, I think Gears for 39$ somewhere. Best Buy seems to have the only good deal with a free guitar hero II doorbuster when you buy the new 360 premium holiday bundle, but it's a while supplies last. Also, Guitar Hero II seems to be dropping to 59.99$ everywhere black friday.

Good deal for dumping The Darkness on Ebay since it isn't worth playing, even for free. It's hard to believe this game came from the same developers of Chronicles of Riddick - Starbreeze.
