Some LEGO Batman details to whet your appetite for vengeance

Using the same optional cooperative gameplay system as the LEGO Star Wars games, LEGO Batman will allow players to play as either Batman or Robin, with one friend able to join in the crime-fighting mayhem -- no four-player co-op this time around, it seems.
Villains such as the Joker and Penguin will appear, as Batman and Robin explore Gotham City. Vehicle construction will also return from the LEGO Star Wars series. We're still dying for more details, but with the game's release around a year away, there's still plenty of time for new details to surface.

So, we can only play as two characters? At a minimum, we should also be able to play as Bruce Wayne. But, why not let us play as some of the villians. Or maybe some other DC superheroes. It's LEGO, it doesn't need to make sense, it just has to be fun!

I know this is unrelated to the game, but where the hell are the Lego pieces in that Lego Batman kit? Practically looks like a prefab toy.
Man, I miss the days when Lego meant a bucket with a million unmatched pieces.

If it's not the most anticipated, it should be. Few games have been more simple fun than the Lego Star Wars games.
