Are these separate titles, or packed together in one package?

Because packed together would be gravy.

The Wii DOES have USB keyboard support now.

If they threw that one there, I'm officially sold.

Ehh, no graphical updates ala RE:UC, not much interest to me. I guess price is a factor too. We'll see... :)

In other news, I just realized it would make more sense for the wii zapper to have the trigger in the back, instead of the front where you normally have a handle attachment on a gun. Third parties?

Why not HoTD 1 as well? It's not like Wii owners demand awesome (or good........or decent) graphics.

Why not HoTD 4? I guess that would take too much of *gasp* an effort?

House of the dead 4 would kind suck without a really rumbly controller.

The whole game used an automatic weapon so it would be only slightly funner than pointing at star bits in super mario galaxy =\

However, as the original waggle game, House of the Dead 4 is kinda spiritually appropriate for Wii.

HotD 2 and 3 packed together? That's not surprising at all. In fact, there is NO REASON why they shouldn't be packed together when you remember that the Xbox version of HotD 3 featured the entire HotD 2 game as an unlockable.

They might as well include HOTD1, even if it sucks.

And they might as well include Typing of the Dead. It taught me how to type. Plus it's the only game my gf pwns me in, getting like 20x my score, haha.

Wii corners another niche, apparently, the retro gamer is already in thier grasp, and now they move on to the arcade-shooter fan

And Jeff, Sega has more leeway for this, since they have provided some of the best original 3rd party content on Wii to date (along with Capcom, and to a certain extent Ubisoft), Secret Rings, while considered by some to be a flop, was probably the first Wii game whose graphics couldn't have been rendered on GC, and NiGHTS 2 is just excellent

Secret Rings is pushing 800,000 sold. That's hardly considered a flop, especially for a Sonic game these days.
Still, it's nice to know that someone besides me noticed how good Sonic's graphics are!

yeah.. where is hotd? but then again, porting saturn games is pretty difficult i heard, so that might be the reason why. but really, how hard would it be to do a port of a 10 year old arcade game? i figure hotd4 isnt included because it looks something like virtua fighter 5, so graphically dumbing it down might not be something the devs want to do. i udnerstand that. but as for hotd, i hardly remember that game, i played through it in arcades with my cousin, but i never got it on my saturn, which i owned a ntsc-u and pal stunner for (ntsc is orange, pal is blue.. sorta like the arcades), so a console port would be nice. speakin of the saturn though.. VIRTUA COP TRILOGY ON THE WII. considering the first 2 have beyond last gen graphics, thats a no brainer, but even better.. we never (at least in the us) got a port of virt cop 3! it had bullet time and looked really fun. i played it once in arcades, but i never feed quarter into machines, and virt cop 3 has last gen graphics, itd be easy to port to wii.

I am totally with you on all of that shouryuuken. I never was able to get that for my Saturn either since it was extremely hard to find. And I am absolutly onboard with you on the Virtua Cop trilogy idea!!! I was so happy when they ported part 2 to the Dreamcast, but I am itching to play all of them (3 included) on the Wii! This would combat the Time Crisis series on the PS systems! Lets rock that idea too Sega! COME ON!!!

With its veritable clusterfuck of an architecture, they would port the PC version if they did anything, hell, even the version of Sonic R that made it onto Sonic Gems Collection was a straight port of the PC version

Saturn porting/emulating is hard as hell

I am totally all over this! The only thing that I hope is that Sega will actually give us, the gamers, House of the Dead 1 also! Besides the Saturn and PC, there isn't a way for us to play the first game. This is the perfect way and time for them to give us the first game along with the 2nd and 3rd. I know this is most likely an Wii version of the Xbox disc, but Joystiq, if you are reading this, please contact Sega again and mention it to them. That would be the best thing ever! Thanks!!!

The only issue I have with Umbrella Chronicles is with changing between weapons. I use the C button on the nunchuck because that way I don't have to shift my hand up the remote.

Actually I'd say neither these, Ghost Squad, or Umbreall Chronicles give any use to the zapper. It's a useless, functionless piece of plastic. All it does is actually restrain what you can do with the controller by forcing the nunchuck and remote on the same plane. Pretty much and 'zapper' game plays better if you don't even use it at all. It kind of ticks me off as an environmentalist, that Nintendo is wasting all this plastic.

I love how before the final Wii Zapper was shown or announced, people were going mad about when they're going to show it off, and when it would finally come out. And then it came out and people called it a waste of plastic.

Thats because it looked nothing like we all imagined it should.

Instead of being just a form you put the controllers into, it should have been a plug for the wiimote, with its own trigger and analog stick. Buttons could have been placed along the sides of the "barrel" for maximum functionality.

But no, we get molded plastic.

How the hell do you guys get excited at a repackaged 10 year old light gun game.

Sega try putting even a little budget into the damn game and update it you cheap fucks.

Wii will continue to get 3rd party crap games because you people support this shit, but you dont buy highly rated games like Zak and Wiki...

Argh what a fate! I feel like a mindless Zombie at times, Nintendo Wii shouldnt that be Wee!

Rehash Central was looking forward to HotD 2&3 until I relised 4 was coming out on Xbox - I feel like Im living in the past. No HotD 1 Im dissappointed I guess the graphical adjustments would be too much.

Res Evil Umbrella may be slower paced and less hectic than house of the dead but its got more content than the first 3 house of the deads put together.

If your waiting for HotD 2+3 and havent got Res evil Umbrella cronicles you dont know what Ur missing its top and thats coming from a Silent Hill Nut.
