The folks over at Team Xbox have revealed the official box art for "Game of the Year 2008" Ninja Gaiden 2 and we think it's a little misleading to say the least. Take a look at it and maybe you'll see what we're talking about. Do you see it yet? Yup, that's right, not a single dismembered corpse anywhere on the box. In fact, apart from some blood on the scythe and the bloody Roman numeral "II," there's hardly even a hint of the exquisite violence present in this game. Yeah, yeah, Ryu still looks badass and everything, but come on! People might go into Ninja Gaiden II thinking it's some kind of sword graveyard caretaker sim. Oh, and we like the "RP" rating. Very cute. Let's just save everyone the guesswork and change that to an "M," okay?
