Kinda reminds me of Lucario. I think these are just stunts to get people back to playing those games again....

I seem to remember that Capcom had done this for a couple of other previous GBA Megaman games. Footman (Gridman) for example was done by a fan.

Not just the GBA games-- Capcom took their Robot Master designs from contest entries from Mega Man 2-7.

Oh, I think 8 too. Point is, we've been playing with kids' silly robot designs for about 20 years.

Yep, and there were two that were designed by Western players.
Knightman and Windman from Megaman 6 were designed by Canadian Daniel Vallie and American Michael Leader, respectively.
