Oh man, you sure burned them with that M$ usage there! I bet they shed a tear each time someone full of wit uses a $.

It's a tad ironic that it comes from a username begging for somone to buy a game from him.

Lets see, They take the copies of Halo or whatever game they have laying around and copy the game to the database harddrive. The BC software is built into the title. They put some software inbetween the server and client to make the download work. So your paying for a game that you could buy for 5 bucks from any EB games and have the same basic concept as this hardrive install. Except you paid less, don't have to wait 8 hours for it to download and DRM isn't an issue.

I'm all for good ideas, but lately they seem like money making ideas and not good ideas.

Actually, I just saw EB/Gamestop has jacked the price of Halo up to $25. I'm not sure if that is in relation to the announcement of the downloadable games, but it is an odd change.
