do you think this game will ever come to PC?

Every game Bioware has ever made was originally on or came to the PC, so there's a high probability that this one will too, although I'd rather Bioware focused on Dragon Age. Luckily I'm too busy playing The Witcher right now for another RPG anyway.

I felt I needed to post because of Pajama's post...

Just because the only decent JRPG made in years, Earth Bound, has yet to be given a run for its money by another JRPG doesn't mean you have to try to put down all the people who've been enjoying great RPGs. I mean Fallout 1 and 2, Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, Planescape: Torment, KOTOR, Jade Empire (for weirdos like me) and now Mass Effect have been and will continue to keep us happy for decades to come :\

Ahem, allow me to direct your attention to that sea of FFVII fans who are about to draw and quarter you for that statement.

That aside, the replay value of KOTOR 1&2, Jade Empire, and other western style/made RPGs tend to be very small, one or two times tops. The stories aren't usually well put together or are so straightforward they lose the meaning they could have had were they more complex. And the alternate endings tend not to be worth the Xth playthrough of the game, since they're usually the opposing image of their counterpart.

On the other hand, games like FFVI and VII are, to me at least, far more replayable since their stories are complex and masterfully written. It's nearly impossible not to make an emotional tie to most, if not all, JRPGs whether you love or hate them. It might just be me, but I have severe difficulty getting into Western RPGs because they lack emotional depth and tend not to make you think.

/end rant ;p

I completely disagree, I am an FFVII and VIII fan, love the stories, but I don't have the urge to replay them. Whereas I could always start a new Bioware RPG up, but hey, I just find the core gameplay of FFVII/VIII very repetitive.

Western RPGs offer me more replay value. I don't play a game over again just for the story unless I really enjoy the gameplay too.

Wow, dissing Supreme Commander?!?!? Guess you just are not into RTS's then.

"Supreme Commander: Quite possibly the best RTS ever made. Insane level of unit control as well as revolutionary camera system and massive worlds."

Darn right.

This is the best RPG quite possibly in years. If you are a fanboy, obviously you'll attribute its scores to xbox somehow making people rate their games higher and play/buy them asstons more. But it really is that good.

I finally beat Mass Effect today.

This game is absolutely AMAZING. I played as an Infiltrator, and gonna go through again as an Adept now, making Renegade choices instead of Paragon.

Jeez.
Everything. The final confrontation is immense, and it's not all combat; you're still making moral choices down to the last second to determine the outcome. stunning.
