Two PlayStation Eye titles hit American PSN today
If you've yearned to have your PlayStation 3's electronic retina do something other than judge rectangular pieces of paper, today presents two new opportunities via the PlayStation Network store. The first, Operation: Creature Feature, has you herding little monsters through mazes, guiding them with the motion of your hands. The $4.99 investment might just help you defeat the habit of shaking your fist in the air whenever you feel frustrated -- every time you do that, you might inadvertently kill even more of the poor little things.
If killing poor little things of the aquatic variety is also one of your neglectful habits, you'd best stick to the virtual fish in Aquatopia. Sure, it's a glorified $1.99 screensaver, but if you skipped Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted, it's probably the least fishy thing you'll have running on your PS3. It also explains the rather curious pile of Fish Flakes on top of James Ransom-Wiley's TV.

Do these games work with any camera or only the EYE camera that comes with the card game?
for example, right now I have hooked up my xbox camera to the PS3.. works during video chat and everything.. would it also work with these games?

I wouldn't be surprised if your Microsoft Xbox camera worked since a Microsoft OS is required to use the Playstation store.

What you said something stupid? That always happens! XD

Hehe, hey Joe, don't get your panties in a bunch. It ain't gonna change the fact that the camera games are this decade's light gun games. That's all there is to it.

So manipulating what is going on onscreen with the motions of your hands is a gimmick?
deaftly @ Nov 21st 2007 9:49AM

It be interesting to see if aquarium turns out to be a major "show-off" incentive piece for new PS3 customers.

if there's anything wrong with this, it's that you can see yourself act like an idiot on screen, while you cannot with the wii.
