We've got quite a bit at the Target I work at, but pulled them off the shelves last night to make room for some other stuff. So now it's pretty much just if you request them we'll pull one out for you, but we don't have them laying out anywhere.

I work at Best Buy and so far when we close up, we have at least 20-30 stacked up and ready for the next day7. Black Friday will most likely see many gone.

I had it reserved, but I know the Gamestop I got it at only had 2 non-reserve copies for the 360 come in, and no extra ones for the PS3. I think it's because less PS3 versions of the game were made (at least Special Edition packs). Makes sense, it would be a big money sink if the smaller PS3 market didn't buy your game.

Anyway, as far as the components are concerned - my USB hub works fantastic. What's odd about that is that the USB hub that came with my copy, and the one that came with my friend's look COMPLETELY different. His is like long and skinny, with all 4 ports on one side. Mine is a lot more solid, with 3 on the front and one on the back. Anyone know about this yet?

Also, the Fender I got has a faulty tilt sensor. Makes it a pain in the ass to have to hit SELECT on the guitar to throw up "star power" or whatever they call it in RB. I'll be sending that back to EA for a replacement next week. Thankfully I have 2 GH2 guitars.

My experience: one Target here in Sacramento received 12 Xbox, 2 PS3 RB bundles. A Toys'R'Us received 6 Xbox, 2 PS3 RB bundles. Either the PS3 bundles are delayed in shipment, or they are producing less based on expected sales.

I think Rock Band will take a few weeks to build up steam. My son is 14 and while he was excited about Rock Band, many of his other friends (who all have Guitar Hero) are not aware of Rock Band. Once they know about it, I think it'll be on everyone's Christmas wish-list.

Oh, and I brought my Xbox Rock Band over to play with friends last night; everyone there was new to rhythm games but they picked it up quickly and at least one left to pick up their own copy.

I've been playing it since Tuesday and it's been off and on fun. Most people I've read say they like the guitar more than GH3--I say...WHY!? I understand that some people like precise timing in rhythm games...but RB is throwing out notes that I absolutely should be hitting. I might have to try lag again, but I have no issue with lag on drums. Also, the Hammeron/Pulloff system in GH3, while insanely easy, is also insanely more fun. Just play My Name is Jonas/Impulse/the Blue Oyster Cult song in that game and tell me it's not fun. Hard != fun.

I hope hype does build up for this game. If it does, I can try and sell my "used" copy locally so I don't have to worry about shipping it. Don't get me wrong, I am having some fun with it--but I just see it getting old relatively quickly. I enjoy the guitar parts a whole lot more in GHIII, drums are fun but not THAT great, and vocals will get old fast. Also, I played with two friends last night, and we ended up going back to GHIII after a few hours of RB.
