I don't really care if the PS3 is backwards compatible. That is what I have my PS2 for.

Can someone please tell me what the USB ports and flash drives are used for on the PS3? Is having only 2 USB ports really going to pose a problem? My PS2 has them and I have never used them before.

no it won't cause a problem as u can buy a usb extension and add 4 or more ports and u can do that with all usb i have 1 of em and now i have 3 extra slots i can use. they made it b a computer that's how open ended the system is

and the flash drives r good so u don't have 2 waste the batteries in your camera or psp or whatever u need as some cameras the system don't recognise but it will the memory card highly useful

i can go "allday" about how the features of the ps3. it is the superior system in all it capabilities and features! holla if u want me 2 describe them all 2 ya. seriously.
