Rocky and Bullwinkle bound for Xbox Live Arcade

In the spirit of Thanksgiving... okay, so this is in no way relevant to the American holiday, but we're posting it anyway. Who remembers Rocky and Bullwinkle? No one? Well, the classic cartoon characters are getting their very own mini-game compilation, coming soon to Xbox Live Arcade.

At the very least, this will be an opportunity for the franchise to redeem its former sins; the duo starred in atrocious platformers on the Game Boy and NES back in 1992. The new title, The Bullwinkle Show (what, no Rocky?) is being developed by Zen Studios, and will include Live Vision Camera support in its plethora of party games.

So, is this even news? By all means, let us know in the comments.

It will be is correct. Will suggests something coming up in the future where as would is hypothetical.

As a childhood fan of the show, I'll probably throw them some money for it if it at all resembles the old cartoons.

Well, the show was originally called "Rocky and Friends" for a couple of years. Then it was called "The Bullwinkle Show" until the end.

It wasn't called "Rocky and Bullwinkle" until syndication.

I always thought it was "Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends" or something of the sort.

Rocky and Bullwinkle own your ass.

i hope it will be at least as lackluster as the television show ... boris!

I remember watching this show as a kid. I especially enjoyed the "Peabody's Improbable History" segments.
It's certainly got potential for a good mini-game package; I'll watch for it.

No, Joystiq, no one here "remembers" this show, especially given the fact that it's been available on DVD for quite a while now, and before that on VHS compilations and on TV syndication. Give your readers some credit. I'll be looking forward to this one. I still love playing the Rocky and Bullwinkle machine on Pinmame. I'm all for more mini-game titles on the 360, just as long as they aren't of the "Fuzion Frenzy 2" caliber.
