it's entirely EA's fault. EA sucks. existing ps3 games show it can handle something like HL2.

Oh, like we'd expect someone spamming off one of those crappy free PS3/iPod things to say it's the PS3's crappy design.

Dr. Killinger: What you need is a second-in-command who understands the intricacies of organized villiany. This I can offer you.

The Monarch: Perfect! You're hired, number...

Dr. Killinger: Number Killinger. Doctor Henry Killinger. And this is my Magic Murder Bag.

Love is not private. Love is to be shared. I've locked you in. Neither of you may leave until you have reached compromise. Good luck, and may love show you the way. (opens his umbrella and begins to ascend toward the ceiling) Say goodbye to all your pretty children for me.

Gozer the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!

-There's something very important I forgot to tell you.

-What?

-Don't cross the streams.

-Why?

-It would be bad.

-I'm fuzzy on the whole good/bad thing. What do you mean, "bad"?

-Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.

-Total protonic reversal.

-Right. That's bad. Okay. All right. Important safety tip. Thanks, Egon.

And that's 500. THANK YOU and good night!

to the guy that said that stuff coded for the ps3 cpu is unusable on other platforms.

one person brought up the fact that the problems that the ps3 is having is that x360 code is being ported to it instead of the other way around. according to n'gai croal coding should be first done on the ps3 and then ported to the x360. Coding for the ps3 is easier and a better product is made for both systems if the port is done from ps3 to x360.

imo the real problem that i see with valve giving this to EA is that he may very well be against ps3. that bothers me more than anything...but sh!t happens, right?

I think that on the part of Valve they should take responsibilty for their product. the valve logo is still smacked onto the orange box and if anything they should have taken the time to make the product "playable". It was already being delayed(which if you remember was because the PS3 EA division was in another country and communication and migrating stuff took time) i think Valve should have tried to code for the ps3 and made the orange box a great product for all to enjoy.

note, criterion games coded the beautiful burnout paradise first on the ps3 and ported it to x360 and that turned out to have equivalent quality.

I have this for the PS3.
I also have Half Life 2 and Episode 1 for PC.
It plays fine on PS3 and it looks great.
Making the said article irrelevant and just mere hyperbole.
