You hate piracy but you stole the image made to create your avatar? Makes perfect sense.

Eh. There's a forum I used to go to that had a whole gallery of avatars there, ripped from videogames, anime, movies and more random stuff I can't think of. It was a huge gallery, but the avatars were about 65x65 or less. Still, there people who used them, but most of them where people that joined just to post reviwes of games and movies, as most of the major members (like me) prefered to upload our own avatars. I might go back there sometime and post again, as it's been about 3 months since I made a post there, because the forum became boring after an incident. If people from here (like Fernando or sam) went over there, the forum would be more fun. Hmmmm... I'm wondering if someone who's from the forum and lurks this site will even recognize me. Who knows, maybe on will do. Haha!

Also, I'm the kind of person who "borrows" avatars from Internet forums. Most people do it, not only me.

I dunno.

Piracy kinda made the PS2 popular in Southeast Asia ironically. The Gamecube failed in SEA because it was too hard to pirate for.

So yes, piracy is a double edged sword. It may hurt the sales of game developers, but it makes you more recognisable at the same time.

Actually, no the game cube is very easy to Mod. It's just a crappy system with crappy games in comparison to the PS2 and DC. Just like how the PS3 is to the Wii and 360. A crappy system!

how much does this thing cost? I never knew or heard of this but I sure wouldn't mind being able to download games. I already spent so much on multiple ds games. Where should I purchase this? are there any other brands I should consider? thanks in advance

Oh, anywhere from $35 to $45 maybe? But thanks to exposure from the press AND merchants, you can expect the prices to be higher than I mentioned.

I reference to the idea about a laptop running on SD cards without a HDD is not a bad idea but per prog would be. I am try for a RAID system for high speed and density SD card so that you can have 16Gb of solid state to load from with a HDD for both load speed and low power use. I use an iPaq and love the fact the I can store 100's of games in a 1Gb chip and have been avoiding the DS because I could write my own stuff and store games the way I do. The idea of also being able to make more powerful programs and experiment more has me leaning toward the DS as I have seen ways to make it do more and the fact that it is cheaper than everything else.
