S.T.A.L.K.E.R. port may be destined for 360

Again, we find ourselves in the awkward position of looking up a PC game to find out whether or not we should be interested in it. You see, another PC developer, in this case GSC Game World, has gotten all cozy with the Xbox 360. The company, responsible for the recent PC FPS S.T.A.L.K.E.R., has announced that it is now officially a certified Xbox 360 developer. So, now we're looking up S.T.A.L.K.E.R. to see if we should be excited. We seem to remember reading the name on Joystiq quite a bit a while back ... oh, look at that! It has an 82 average on Metacritic, so that's a good sign, right?

We should probably mention that GSC has not announced that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is headed to the 360, but it makes sense to us. Then again, so did Pogs. And we all knew how that turned out.

I was really excited abut this game until I found out it was just coming out on the PC. This makes my day!

W00T - this was pretty badass on PC. HUGE environments; didnt feel linear at all.

PLEASE make STALKER for the 360.

Yay i have it for pc but i never bothered to fix the framrate so it chugged and i had a pc more than powerful enough to play it but thanks to this i might rent on 360 haha one more game (GAMES FOR WINDOWS) can cry about losing in the next issue. And 360 is the lead platform for project origin =).

P.S. i dont hate gfw but every issue i read they always talk down to the consoles especially the 360.

This really cool sounding "Oblivion FPS" was on my list until I saw the PC Requirements. And it doesn't even look fantastic (atleast not for the requirements it needs) Also, their were a few bugs in the games, so hopefully those will be fixed. But from the sound of it, a "Open World - Non Linear - Action - FPS - RPG" set in the ruins of Chernobyl, filled with mutants and mercs, sounds awesome.

I'd hit it.

If they do it right, don't rush it and deliver a version that's actually playable without a dozen patches and some tweaking (which is virtually impossible on a console), then yes, please do it. If the PC version is any indication of how good and polished the port will be, then thank you, no.

stalker would be nice on 360

If you had to look up STALKER to find out whether or not you're interested in it, you're not a gamer.

I hope, since Origin is apparently developed mainly for 360, that they fix the SHITTY controls that FEAR on the consoles had. Because on the PC, the true FPS platform, the game ruled and wasn't brought down by it's controls.

This games tons of fun on the PC. I've actually beaten it 3 or 4 times using different mods. Probably won't get a 360 version because it's not as much fun to play without mods.

This would be awesome.
Porting the top PC games to the 360 would be awesome.
Having a laptop not capable of playing 3D games and being deprived of essential games is not awesome.
