Experience the same old experience by launching PSP's Network Update today!
To call the latest PSP mutation an update is certainly an overstatement. Firmware 3.73 is so completely similar to 3.72 that Sony couldn't muster a single new feature worth listing in its description of the upgrade. Even the hacks haven't turned up anything more than a few 'byte differences' in the lflash_fatfmt file (don't ask, we don't know). At least it still plays games.
Update: Sony tells us the "operation of the UMD drive has been improved to address cases in which the UMD drive occasionally suspends and fails to reload data."

I heard that the update also changed something in the code so that for future updates, you only need to download and install files that have been changed, so that in theory, they should be much smaller.

"didn't want anyone to think 1 made a type there"? What's that supposed to mean?

Not to sound like a lawyer, but you might want to give Diane Arbus a credit for the photo.

Those twins are as freaky as a European PS3 ad.

You've never seen that photograph? It's incredibly famous. I believe those twins still live in somewhere in New Jersey.

It's by Diane Arbus. She was known for shooting rolls of rather strange stuff, this being one of the photographs. Her work is pretty incredible. It's basically just one of her more famous photographs and she is a really famous photographer. I guess thats why it's well known.

I bought a wii yesterday with supermario galaxy and super paper mario because I had money. I also bought a ds along with it to try out something new and I bought pokemon pearl and zelda. Turns out I will admit that I was a complete asshole for bashing the wii for no particular reason and it turns out I am actually enjoying myself. I never thought nintedo would blow me away with their gimmicks but i was proven wrong and I am here to apologize for bashing the wii and xbox360. I'm really sorry. I never expected that nintendo would actually have fun and innovative games.

Wait a fucking second... the single greatest newest muthafuckin troll on Joystiq admits defeat by admitting he's WRONG? A rabid PS3 ogre acknowledging the Wii, its absolute antithesis?

I see that account of yours has only one post, which means it's new, but for some reason has the same name. Then again, it means the banhammer was dropped in your head, and you came to apologize to the people here. Tough luck, after doing a riot like that it's going to take more than that for the people here to forgive you. Good luck seeking their forgiveness though.
And no, this doesn't mean I forgive you.

Know what would be super? A PS3 firmware update that would make it just fucking work to see my media over my network!
Fucking think sees my PCs, but no media. The 360 media center function is great, I would love to get that working on the PS3.

I guess that's why they're calling it 3.73 instead of 3.8.

So long as Joystiq is going to use Arbus photos I think someone should consider "Jewish Giant" in any upcoming article, related or not.

Going to google Diane Arbus...love the twins. Besides creating and drawing wii is Tops 100 favOright activity. Wii saturday is a ritual now in our house... it's only going to get better. 89 year old great grandma bought one and plays with her 10 year old great granddaughter. That's a killer of an audience range. No one can understand it until they play because seeing isn't enough. People look silly with their Wiis jerkin around in their hands (in the ads)! Ya just have to experience for yourself. http://www.spymac.com/details/?2313189
