Sometimes you have to wonder how hard up these companies must be that they ask known pains-in-the-ass to come and promote their product. I mean, I know they're not about to get Metallica, but some of the other bands, even those included as bonus tracks, have followings and need the publicity more than Lydon does. And the 'Pistols are so 1980 anyway.

Well, a game like GHIII which is really not even pretending to be a guitar hero, but a wannabe cover band would sort of be antithetical to being original in any way, wouldn't it? Hard to rock out when you are a slave to the fret buttons...

Well what the f*** did they expect? He's Johnny f***ing Rotten. John Lydon is not the kind of guy who will massage some corporation's balls while singing them a lovely ballad. He'll sh** on them in public if he gets the chance, and THAT is what you pay for when you hire the lead singer of the motherf***ing Sex Pistols.

If you want lame, watered-down, pseudo punk, then hire Green Day.

John Lydon yammering on about being working class when he's a Tory voter through and through with a lot in the bank ("I'm finding more working class values in the Conservative Party")... Yes, sure he *was* at one point but he isn't anymore...
