"Tad" is a noun that means the same thing as "bit." I want to punch you, and everyone else who says "tad bit."

Tad basically means little btw. So it would be a "little bit" hard.

Tad is also an adverb, which according to the Oxford Dictionary means, "to a small extent; somewhat".

Lose-lose situation. Any reasonable amount of difficulty and we get smacked in the face with this "Too hard for Wii's casual audience" crap. And if it were easy enough for "Wii's casual audince" (note the quotation marks), we'd get smacked with the "Nintendo abandoned core gamers" argument. Proof that "neutral" games media is corrupt and that there is no longer any middle ground to stand on. It's not enough for XBots and BSPSfanboys to dislike Wii, they have to use whatever warped logic they can to control any good media it might recieve and make gaming feel like crap to Nintendo fans all in defense of their weasly idols that will kill our favorite passtime. Will someone tell me what happened to morals. . . or people just having a head on their shoulders?

Morals are a thing of the past.
get used to it.

who says we cant have hard core games and casual games at the same time?
who says that they HAVE to be the same game?
isn't this rated M anyways?

if a person above the age of 18 hasn't played any games and needs to start casually, where has he been all this time?
(this rule excludes the oldies.)

Who cares what fanboys try to put down the Wii with(its all just mindless talk anyways), the fact still remains that the Wii is a great innovative system that refreshed the way games were played. They can't change that fact no matter how hard they argue. One thing that is certainly true though, is that the Wii will alienate its core gamers if there is too much "casual crowd" games in the Wii's library. Casual games don't hold a hardcore gamers attention for too long, they're either not challenging enough or not fun enough. Thats why essential that theres a balance between hardcore games and casual games.

I for one is glad that No More Heroes is hard, I like a game that gives a challenge, and not every Wii game has to cater to the "casual crowd."

@ Capt. Castellanos--Just because a games M rated doesn't mean it has to be hardcore, its all about the skill lvl required to play the game.

Actually if you read the whole thread linked to in this post you'll see that the "too hard for Wii users" thing was just a joke by one of the message board posters.

It was not from Famitsu's official review of the game. I would imagine they don't have much negative to say about the game, considering they gave it a 34/40.

And if it IS really hard, than that makes me even more excited. (That's what she said!)

Real or not, if No More Heros is hard, I hope it's God Hand hard.
...as opposed to, say, Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness "hard".

Am looking forward to this game, hoping to get as much fun as Killer 7. If it's as difficult as Metriod Prime 3 on Veteran mode then I am all for it :)

so the wii is casual so the long term pro gamer that is the NINTENDO FAN is casual total utter gutter trash talk the wii is both hardcore and casual the wiimote enhances the experiance fpor the hardcore gang and simplfies gaming for the non game at the same time anyone with any degree of commonsence can clearly and interligently witness that wii is no casual machine
i clearly remember capcon calling ps2 casual and gamecube hardcore wen they added a easy mode to viewtifull joe ps2 version and did no such thing to the cube version wen asked why capcon said nintendo players are gamers and ps2 plsayers are casual mass consumers the fact wii appeals to both is not casual its just successfull its x360 fans that are casual as they play blatently casual cheep aimed games saka fps and street racers and sod all else the wii is cleasrly a universal gaming device the x360 is a pc games side kick with nothing but generic crap in its top ten charts
