I just bought it a week ago, haven't got round to playing it what with Assassins Creed. This will be great as I get to experience the extras first time through.

I read on Kotaku that the new DLC adds a harder difficulty as well, that disables the vita-chambers.......

Yeah there is a new 100pt achievement which is 'Beat the game on Hard without using a vita-chamber and without harvesting a little sister. So the option has been added to turn of the vita-chambers in conjunction with this new achievement.

Sounds like I'll be filling up my hard drive with Bioshock saves. Additional question: why would they have another achievement for not harvesting any little sisters?

It would be nice if they added southpaw controls. Then I could actually play the game.

Its not "the halo control scheme", its the 007 control scheme from the N64.
Its retardly easy to implement, so I choose not to spend $60 on a game if the developers don't want me to enjoy the experience. And trust me, games aren't fun at all if you are walking into walls for a significant portion.

I'm with Bill, the only way that I can enjoy this game is either with a modded controller or a patch that allows for southpaw controls. I'm really hoping for a patch.

Eh? You guys are crazy. I'm left handed and had no problems playing the game. Switching the controls would seem weird. I'm not sure why you deem the game unplayable - I have never had any problem adjusting to "right handed" controls schemes.

while i don't agree with you guys, and i can adapt to almost any controller set-up, just take a few plays to pick up, but i do agree that controller mapping or different preset layouts really should be easy to include and implement on most games.
the only problems i could forsee with contoller mapping would be people wanting to assign analog button press actions to a digital button, but that could be remedied by having multiple presets.

This is so great of news. Now I will have the motivation to put down COD4 and beat the game again.

This should get me to actually go back and finish the game at least a first time through. :) Right after this game came out I got into the CoD4 beta and Bioshock was nothing more than a distant memory. I think my last save was right after you encounter your first Houdini Splicer...

New Plasmids 'ey...My mind is racing with the different possibilities. To the Guy who said he hasn't got around to playing this game, make time. It's that good.
