Eidos trademarks 'Tomb Raider Underworld'
With Kane & Lynch a little tied up at the moment with the Gerstmann caper, we turn our attention to former Eidos darling Lara Croft, who's been making some strides back to prominence with her past two excellent games. It seems that when she returns, it may be under the banner of "Tomb Raider Underworld," a phrase Eidos has just registered for use in "video game software" and strategy guides. You're probably thinking that the phrase will be the title for the next Tomb Raider game, and we doubt that you're that far off. After Tomb Raider

yeah.. It was tomb raider:legend, not legacy.
Legend and anniversary were great. The TR series needs to be more like anniversary though.

Joystiq, I shall have a hearty laugh if I see an "e-surance" commercial featuring their mascot in a TOMB RAIDER/UNDERWORLD-esque look.
And yes, I admit... I didn't find Kate Beckinsale attractive until CLICK came out. :d

What a way of Eidos trying to change attention from the whole Gerstmann fiasco.
Hashbrown_Hunter @ Dec 3rd 2007 6:49PM
I must admit, she's pretty fucking awesome.

I wonder if that means that the users of MovieTome soon will be able to change the interface of that site for a Tom Raider one and make their own trailers there.

TR Anniversary is awesome. I bought it when it came out but got stuck on these damn Centaur bosses. Anyway I beat them and this game does NOT disappoint. Lara is incredibly nimble and other than having to manually control the camera, I don't know what I'd improve about the game other than a couple animations, and the huge amount of ammo available (makes some fights too easy).
Please MAEK MOAR TOME RADAR

I had trouble with them as well, until I figured out I had to reflect their "stone stare" back at them. Then they were easy!
Im worried that any TR that comes out again will be be compromised in length (devlopment cost). TR:A was so long and was a really justifiable purchase. Legend was a bit om the short side. They ended the game, at what seemed like the halfway point.

After Tomb Raider Legends ending, I'm looking forward to that story continuation. After all, I want to see Lara "man up" to her mistake in the past instead of using the villian as her convenient absolution of guilt and rise of anger. Lara's tragic past made her a better character. I'd hate to see that guilt disappear forever.

Tomb Raider Legend was short but luckily it was worth the price:
