Well I already have Small Arms, but might pick up Marble Blast and/or Zuma. Have heard that Zuma is 'difficult'. I know I have had my frustrations with the PC version.

Zuma is quite difficult - but addicting... Don't expect to get anywhere near 200/200.

Marble Blast Ultra on the other hand is a solid purchase at 400 msp and 200/200 is very do-able.

Marble Blast is a great game. Zuma is a great pick too. Xeno...was that not getting 200 / 200 have anything to do with those old bugs with unlocking them?

@neon, it has a lot more to do with the game being mind-boggling fugging difficult beyond a certain level. and scoring 2 mln points is damn near impossible IMO.

but still , good fun, all in all. i picked it up when they had the 48 hour price special. my girlfriend likes it, and she hates games.

Marble Blast Ultra is perhaps the best Arcade game i've ever played, or at least the most well rounded.

Shouldn't all of the titles from the first 6 months after launch be discounted by now? Why pick and choose these?

Apparently they're only dropping the price on the best-sellers. (Counter-intuitive, no?)

I was afraid this would be an issue. A disc-based game has a couple market pressures that drive its price down, namely limited shelf space and used game sales. These downloadable games don't have the same pressures -- and it shows. With proportionally very few exceptions, XBLA games and other DLC are still at the same price as they were at launch, even stuff that's two years old. I know a guy who picked up COD2 for $7 two months ago, but the DLC is still original price, worth more than the game!!

Lumines Live is priced at 800 points. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that it's price prior to the Fall Update as well?

Yes, it got dropped prior to the Fall update.

They're trying to get double praise for dropping the price once.

Im pretty sure it dropped for only a couple days as some promotion for something, after that it shot back up to 1200 points.

Bankshot Billiards 2 I got free when I first bought my xbox, its alright but was never worth 1200 points

Lumines LIVE!, Zuma Deluxe I bought both at full price a long time ago, so I cant feel too bad now after getting this much play for so many months. Both are good games, and the wife used to play Zuma all the time.

Small Arms I bought when they had the first discounts, pretty fun and probably worth 400 pts.

Marble Blast Ultra I might pick up. For the most part, 400 points is pretty much an impulse buy for most of the XBLA games that are first priced at 800 points.

I am very excited to see this system in place. They are going to get me to spend a lot more points when they drop 800 pt games to 400.

Same here...I'm much more likely to pick up 400pt games than 800pt games even if they are old...lol

Marble Blast looks fun, I was thinking about getting it awhile ago, but the 800pts seemed a little high, must say that I forgot about that game, but now I am buying it at 400pts, looks like a fun little time waster.

FUUUUUCK! I was hoping for Omega 5 tonite. As far as zuma goes yeah its tough but I almost have all 200 Gs outa it. Its nowhere near as hard as Astro pop is. Concerning Xbox originals, if you buy them your part of the problem. I scaned all my friends friends list and found noone was playing them which is good. I want MS to see that they made poor choices concerning these games functionality and lack of GS.
I'm starting to think the friends of friends feature isn't such a corny thing after all, in fact it could be devastating to MS as it is a means to mass communicate a single message to many fast. Now in theory, a message can get to 5 million or so gamers within the span of 5 minutes whereas before this was not possiable. This feature gives us unity and perhaps a meaningful voice in things:)
